Sonko is Kenya's Ezekiel, Ezekiel who represented God by eating baked bread with excrement, and shaving his beard with a sword- just to address the issues affecting people he cared for!
Wacha Sonko afanye kazi yake, I shed many tears seeings kenyans die of hunger in turkana & other regions when our MPs are busy conducting themselves in decorum and changing nothing!
I PREFER SONKO 10 TIMES! He is fearless for what he knows his people want. It's them he's representing after all & they r with him
Note that the speaker at 1.18 had to button up his own coat before giving the ruling. Is it also part of the dress code to button up I wonder? This is hilarious
this is why africa is lacking behind instead of talking about development and bigger issues all the moan about is one maron who even him self doesnt know what he is doing there no wonder kenya has the uniquest govt in the world,
Maybe they'd better concentrate on getting some women in parliament instead of wasting energy on chasing men who don't dress according to arbitrary standards.
Yall better pray Jesus or anybody else doesn't come back wearing a "jump suit". Most of you sound like you would kill him all over again. LOL!!! The fact that they actually chose to discuss that over politics shows why Africans our last on the worlds' list... and this is coming from an African. Over clothing? please!LOL!!!
1)Africans have forgotten there own history. I have seen in Africa myself, tribes since the dawn of man with men wearing earrings. The European mind-state of the past has us brain washed. Let's not even get into Persia or any other areas of the past.
2) Keep thinking like with hunters. Let's not forget most of our parents wore "bell bottom pants" and "high heel" boots on men.
Who wears sun glasses indoors anyway. Thought they were for shielding your eyes from the bright sunlight. Plus despite all that you should be able to respect parliament men! Vaa but take them off when you get into the building. Juvenile man.
ignoring the fact that Sonko is a clown & is not representative(hopefully) of the Kenyan youth, the speaker should have cited him only for looking like an idiot 4 wearing shades indoors in parliament. Announcing that men do not wear earrings/studs is just stereotypical highhandedness if not a little "bigoted". Men do pierce their ears & wear a wide range of ornaments in them across various ethnic groups in Kenya, or is it OK only to wear wooden clogs, beads, bone, or shells in your ears?
Like him (and otherMP's) or not truth ni kwamba leaders are a reflection of their societies-tribalists,land grabbers, lawless touts, mama pima"s,slumlords, exam cheats, fake docs, conmen & gun runners. If Sonko's bad then look at the wider society he came from coz very very few are untainted.
i can,t even blame sonko for these i just blame the electorate the people of makadara these guy is just a clown instead of going to parliament and talking issues he goes to seek unnecessary attention, and how dare the parliament wastes 20 minutes discussing these guy God bless kenya if these are the kind of mp that we elect kenya is heading nowhere and thats why we are becoming more of a failed state because of lack of leadership
Any country with blacks in charge will always be a 3rd world country, till the end of time if they lasted that long. They don't have the leadership and organizing skills that Arabs or whites do.
@Nopartyforme82. those arabs,or should i say towel head muzzies, sure do have exceptional "leadership and organizing" skills as can be attested by the recent events in egypt,tunisia,libya....basically the entire region.GTFOH!!!
This is just a storm in a tea cup. In my own opinion, this was an acceptable light moment in an otherwise dour parliament. Good job Sonko. In the same house we have members suspected and under investigation for all sorts of indecencies, and while they are dressed 'descently' on the outside, we know of their outward 'descence' too well.
miss speaker?

This goes a long way to show that Kenya is yet to be the democratic state we all intend for it to be. I'm ashamed and perturbed.

You must have forgotten that all races are African. You must be hungry for knowledge.

@MrYoubtubin you are so right that traditionally men wore earings and the maasai, turkana, samburu etc still do it.
