@jtc1148 Of course he wouldn't have played. Montana missed the entire following seasons and most of the one after that. The Bills were really good that year, and outplayed the Giants in the Super Bowl in many ways, but then again, Steve Young was already probably a top 5 QB as a backup.

I have a feeling it's going to happen again this year: an NFC team is going to win the conference championship game on the road (Green Bay?) with a last second field goal or in overtime (just as what happened to the Falcons in 1998 and the same Giants in 2007). I damn hope it's the 49ers because the NFL owes them a Super Bowl apperence after losing this game!

See. Now you learned. Buck's voice gets excited whenever the Giants lose. He hates them so much. He hates the Yankees as well. Whenever Giants or Yanks win, his voice is dulled.

He honestly should be fired or moved to another region.

Best team Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragua. Even the team with the two black guys that called the Giants Seahawks game care good

@tridentgun Buck is terrrible. Theres a vid on here of Corey Webster picking Favre in OT during the NFCCG. During that play and the Tyenes FG, you can tell how upset he was. He always is up the home teams azz and even further up a team who's playing a NY team. I was shocked that he had some spark during the Hakeem Nicks TD vs Atlanta.

It was nice to see Ottis Anderson, the former Cane, win the Super Bowl mvp the following week against the Bills; he was clutch in his later years

If anyone remembers, that year when both teams were 10-0 on Monday Night Football, Parcells ended up going for it on 4th down 2 or 3 times and getting stuffed each time. He definitely learned his lesson for this game.

Manning to Tyree was just as improbable as this team beating the Niners and Bills. 2 of the 3 Giant Superbowls were against all odds in the greatest games in the history of the league.

even with the fumble, and even with the injury to montana, the giants dont win this game without that fake punt....parcells took a gamble on that because their offense couldnt move the ball, the niners defense was every bit as good as theirs was....
