have same question as @fuckfallbrek09 (2mths ago) can't find video anywhere showing how to connect mixer, to audio interface, to computer (esp as macbookpr doesn't have many usb/other inputs - I have this basic behringer xenx502 mixer and am testing the Alesio iO2 & Focusrite Sapphire 6USB audio interfaces (also have the UCA200 usb interface adapter for mixer, but want to avoid using this, as not enough usb slots on mac & mixer won't work on a powered usb hub, need room for midi keyboard [usb])

@AOBamaBoi I use Virtual DJ..but Behringer comes with Audacity..in my opinion sucks. I hate the software, VDJ is awesome!

@iSeanTimmins just think if you're going to use your speakers, not only you are going to hear you, your mikrophone is also going to hear and record it. use headphones, may look silly but works best. you dont really need alot, maybe an adapter for your headphone cable but you'll get it at any electronic shop

I don't know if its my fault or the IMIC's fault??? I watched a video on here about the IMIC and i am getting the same sound as that video. The IMIC tends to give me so much distortion on my recording. I'm thinking of sending my IMic back. But any suggestion or solution to help??? Thanks :)

Hi, I got this mixer today.. but It seems to have a problem.. but don't know if that's normal... I thought that when you pressed the "tape to phones" and disable the "tape to mix" you would hear the tape imput but it would not be sent to the main output, Am I right?, but whenever i try this... the signal doesn't get sent but I can barely hear the imput (in this case my keyboard) , but when I use the "Gain" knob I can hear a fully distorted and horrible sounding input... have no ide how to fix it

I don't think you should plug the power into the mixer when it's plugged into the electrical outlet. First plug it into the mixer and only then into the outlet.

@mentalmaxkool That is wrong. You should plug it to the power putlet, and then to the mixer. The reason for this, is when you plug the adapter to the power outlet, a high voltage spike appears, and can damage your mixer.

Hey if want to take XLR outputs out of this mixer, I would need 2 short 1/4TS - Female XLR cables - where hot is TIP and pin 2 and ground is SHIELD and Pin 1.

Does anybody know if I would need to jump pins 1 and 3 within the XLR connector??

My mixer just came in the mail today and I'm very happy with it. But I have a question for you: when you plug in your headphones into the headphones input on the mixer, do you get low volume? I have my phones fader all the way to the right and the volume is pretty low. Now, I bought some RCA plugs to Phono (not sure if Amazon got my order right) and they hook up fine but the sound is not loud. Is that the same on your mixer?

@EasyFlows Sure thing ill get right on that video! and hearing your voice while recording is called monitoring and that depends upon what program you are using, not the mixer. Most programs should allow you too and i can show it in the video since ive used it before. Also if you mean like for live singing or somthing like that then yes it can

Hi, I am thinking of buying this little mixer for my ham radio hobby, i have two ham radios which i want to plug into an audio amp which has some B&W speakers plugged into it..
