Sehr gut, ich selber wohne zwar nicht in München aber als ich letztes Wochenende in München zu Besuch war, hätte ich gerne auch mit meinem Kajak ein wenig gesurft. Ich hoffe sie bleibt erhalten und ich kann kommenden Sommer inklusive Kajak vorbeikommen.

Nein, eher umgekehrt. Bisher ist es nur geduldet, aber nicht wirklich erlaubt, zumindest offiziell. Und es wird daran gearbeitet, es offiziell zu bekommen... sieht gut aus.
They want to get rid of it because in the canal there have been happening some accidents over the last decades... but first of all, nobody knows what happende, if the persons where drunk while they jumped in the water or whatever and secondly it didn´t happen where the wave is located. The wave is formed by a wooden plank on the bottom on the canal and a few on each side.
Unfortunately I had to replace the original soundtrack and therefore also the interviews where lost as the Eels didn´t like their music to be used in the clip...
