haha indeed, lovely leo's in this video btw, but it's annoying how it sometimes just doesn't fit well. But pvess123 is right, it would be boring if they'd all have too common colour matching
because they have no fat and no hips to carry the children. they would have horrible ugly stretch marks, and it would be tough for their bodies to carry them from lack of hip bones and no cushin from lack of fat in that area, and rough tovhave them go thru the birth canal. plus they have no boobs to feed the babies.
OMG! thats not tru my trainer was the champion of europe and she was skinny as heck! she had a son and her son is healthy and she has normal breasts, and she used them to feed her son. ur stupid! and she had amazing curves and stuff. and a lot of gymnast do nowadays. only the girks her dont in this vid!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
well sure she's got boobs, but they werent triple D's i'm sure. and curves is big boobs small waist big butt. i've seen lotsa gymnasts and they only curves they got are from muscles.
big boobs aren't a requirement for breast feeding and as long as the gymnast remains healthy, childbirth shouldn't be anymore difficult for her than it would for any other small framed woman.
I really love RG , but i do think its too late for me to start it. im 13. im not looking for competitive RG . i just wanna do it for fun. id love to have those ribbons hoola hoops and the balls they work with. i have no where to go to get trained, but i can train myself .. i hope.
No. It`s not to late, my friend started when she was 12 and she`s verry impressiv. I`ve done rhythmic gymnastic since i was 5 and know that it`s not too late...
It seems like it though, doesn't it? There are some who are quite amazing when they join in their teens, but a fair portion of most international athletes start when they are younger because the flexibility that comes with youth can be both maintained and improved with strength and power.
But that's not to say it's impossible to get to that calibur when older; It's just a little harder.
this vid is amazing..RG is the best sport in the world..
and i want to join so bad but im an artistic gymnast..im pretty flexible..like i can do chest sits and rolls and hyperextended bridges and splits..but im 14..is it too late to start RG?? please mail me..thank u soo much. and this vid is totally amazing..
I'm sorry to say but I believe it is late. Rhythmic is not only about flexibility, you need many skills you do not learn in other sports. Even the floor is different than what you are used to in Artistic.
And the greatest problem is apparatus technique.Even the smallest childs (at 4-5 years) start to learn that to get used to it, to get the dexterity etc.
Of course, you could still do it just for fun, if you can find a club which doesn't work only with gymnasts of competition level.
@gymnasticfan, I have to (respectfully) disagree. ;)
I began rhythmic at age 13, coming from an artistic gymnastics. I had never done RG. I wasn't flexible. I worked hard, practiced a lot outside training, and went far in the sport. I learned apparatus technique as a teen, and I found that older girls are usually better with the apparatus because they can understand the motions. I coach now, so I'm speaking as both a gymnast and coach. Older girls can be very successful in this sport. :)
@gymnasticfan Forgot to mention: most of the girls on my team began as teens, too, so as long as you put some serious effort into it, you can start a bit late and at least make progress. Maybe not the Olympics, but then again, how many girls get there, anyway? You can still have great success in smaller competitions. It's never too late...I'm coaching one gymnast now who is 20 and started only four years ago! She's very good now because of hard work and passion for RG. :) Yerofeeva began at 13!
Hi. i noticed your comment and would like to say... I started RG when i was 14 and had no training apart from what i had taught myself so i joined up not expecting to go far and i am now 19 and have competed all over the place and am doing well. 14 is late to start and hard to do well but it is possible because i have experianced it. you just have to get into the right club and try very hard. but you should still go for itttt! Good luck :D
no way. i think you should go for it. theres this girl and she just started rg and shes in level 4 in artistic and is in level 2. she was only 11 but she started doing competition and came first over all. i strated when i was 12 and i'm moving to level 7 next year
Of corse you can do rhythmic gymnastics just because ur 14 duznt mean that you cant do it if u try your hardest u will improve for sure but its never 2 late <3
Because you have flexiblity and you just have to train hard, and a AG gymnast is as good as an RG gymnast. Both sports needs the same thing, balance flexiblity, strenght and more. So NO it is NOT to late for you :)
This looks very similar to dance, just with more of an acrobatic theme; similar technique as well. Very cool. Even though quite a few dancers are equally flexible, you can definitely see the emphasis of flexibility in this sport. Amazing!
Ilearend to do the split a few moths ago and im 10 they say im to old practise doesnt make perfect bc no 1 is perfesct but it help alot just belive in ur self!!!!!!this should help me to!!!!!

yea, im a guy, and i played soccer for 5 years, so i wasnt that flexibel, but now i can do the split =)you just have to try, and dont give up, u can olso do things like: making ur homework in a split (as far as u can spread your legs)
no, i learned how to do the splits (forward and saddle) when i am 15-which is this year! the things that help me going is to trudt in myself and pass thogh the pain.
i learn gymnastick for 3 years, i can tell u that is hard to do all those things., but i quit is something that im sad but still u know if i wouldnt stop i would have trainings twice a day and whole week + saturday and sunday. if u wanna learn something or just talk about it u can send me message

I quit because I had alot of pressure on me. The coaches werent very nice to me either. I wasnt having fun and the coaches allways told me off when I wasnt doing anything wrong! But one of the coaches also said One of The Girls looked Fat infront of everyone. She quit aswell as her sister. Its not a fabulous place to learn gym.. :)
oh wow. i know a few girls from HPC who do artistic gymnastics. some of them have gone to worlds. and the others are still to young. most of them are at my school monette russo was last year but she graduated
