@CorvetteCoonass That's an uninformed opinion. Newer subwoofer technology makes possible bass in large amounts down to less than 8Hz. The TRW18 is interesting tech, but I find it's output too low for my tastes.
Today with some drivers capable of 3.6" of distortion-free excursion, they can move the equivalent of 20 18" woofers from ten years ago. Proper transmission line cabinet with tuning in the single digits provides 140dB+ at 16Hz with only a few hundred watts input.

About about a 128FT? Or would that just be beyond what any speaker could reasonably make/

@Zylstra555 Rotary subs are about the only speakers able to reproduce pitches that low.

the video camera shutter is phasing with the speaker vibrations which is why it looks a bit strange sometimes

@nexgenhippy We are seeing 'aliasing' --the sample rate of the camera is too low to accurate sample the cone motion.
