I've been involved in Scouting since the 2nd grade, in 1972. Scouting has changed in many ways but still stays the same in so many others. The ethics and values that were taught to me and now that I teach to Scouts today have made me what I am today. An adult that knows how to make proper moral and ethical choices, by living my life according to the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Maybe if the Mormons left, the BSA would find that many more in the community would participate and give donations. Sometimes standing up for what is right is better than getting all the money in the world.

Venturing, which is part of scouting, has both genders. Boy scouts is for boys only.

If the Mormons left the BSA the BSA would fold. Mormons make up over 50% and give more money then other organizations. If the BSA allows gays than the Mormons will leave.
