What the fuck are you talking about!? The man died with dignity and here you are stepping all over his grave accusing g-d knows who? You are an idiot.
Not everyone spells Iraq I-R-A-Q. Many European languages spell Iraq "Irak." Iraq technically doesn't have a correct spelling using the Roman alphabet. It's really not a big deal.
Well when you live in America, and your trying to be a reporter and bash Bush, it is a big deal. He's trying to bash Bush and doesn't even know how to spell the country that we invaded. Douschbag.
I'm sad to see again the taunting smears by conservatives that liberals are "angry" or "loud," as if their arguments aren't rooted in reality. You would be angry and loud too if your country had been hijacked by a president who didn't represent you with the leadership and morality that we hope for in the office.
The fact that we still have an Electoral College deciding the presidency means nothing less than the government is afraid of the genuine voice of the people. It implies that the average voter isn't compitent to make a decision about their leadership.
So yes , I'm proud to be angry about that. "Shepards may change, but sheep remain sheep".
The Electoral College is in place because you live in a democratically elected republic. All pure democracies have failed in history. A democracy is 2 sheep and a wolf arguing over what's for dinner. A republic is a well armed sheep contesting the results of the vote.
Fascism doesn't fail , so I suppose you think that we should have that just coz it hasn't failed. The electoral college was designed to accomdate the slow communications of the time in 1776. We now have split second communication. The electoral college is an idea only supported by those that agree with maintaining a level of fascist rule over the people. Your statement proves that the sheep are indeed sheep & like it that way...all the way to their slaughter.
Fascism always fails dude. If you think you're living under a Fascist system, you're clueless. I've never seen any supporting evidence that the electoral college was designed to accomodate slow communications.
It is a FACT that the Electoral College was designed to decide the elections before the advent of the telegraph. The fastest form of communication was ships sailing up * down the US coast. The other form of transportation was horse. It took weeks for voting returns to travel from far reaching states to the Capital. Sorry U missed that in 9th grade social studies. But U still have the potential to be more educated than a 5th grader.
Typical arrogant liberal I see. Try reading Federalist 68, and see what Alexander Hamilton had to say on it. Maybe you won't be so arrogant about your "publik edukayshun" then.
I've read that, as well as Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Ayn Rand, and a lot in between. Try reading something besides Chomsky, and your education will be more rounded.
OH! AND! Dollars to donuts, if this video was titled "bush mis-spells" or "anne coulter mis-spells" there would be 3 times as many views and countless comments. Just another example of the blind eye liberals have for themselves.
or it could be because generally youtube has a younger audience, and younger people tend to be more liberal, and more liberal people tend to dislike bush and look for him to screw up more. and tim russert isnt exactly an A list celebrity, so people dont go searching for him on youtube
I am actually pretty hopeful that one day the "younger people" will realizes that now EVERYONE is anti-establishment and so maybe it won't be as "cool" and they can actually use something beside celebrities and songs to help them form an opinion on the govenment. I also believe that conservatives by nature aren't as loud as liberals. :)
When are the conservatives going to start conserving.
Why are there so few conservationists among conservatives. I lean to the left , does that mean I should have typed this in capital letters to live up to ur stereotyping!
Ok, ow my head, number one, being conservative is not about be a conservationist so there isn't any real irony there if you are trying to point some out. Number two, I didn't say liberals type more often in all caps than conservatives, I said they were louder. Judging by the tone of your post, you are quite loud yourself. Why so angry?
Typing in caps is commonly interpreted as yelling or being loud to most people online. I was being sarcastic to make a point about those who want to lump people into labeled categories like liberal & conservative. It IS indeed ironic that CONSERVatives are not CONSERVationists. "younger people"
aren't anti-establishment they all want to fit in. I worked in a restaurant for the past 5 years & most of my coworkers were half my age & don't care about politics or gov't. NONE of them voted.
Anne Coulter can spell , but stated that SHE thinks Canada sent troops to Vietnam. I'd rather she be a poor speller than not know history, if she's going to continue be a pundit for thinly masked fascism.
Tim Russert is someone who goes into interviews w/ limited advance info on his subjects. I saw his interview w/ Jann Werner of Rolling Stone. He held up a copy of Rolling Stone from 1974 stating it was from 1964. The pic on the cover is from 1964 but the issue wasn't.Rolling Stone didn't start publishing until 1967! Did he do ANY research for this interview? How old is he? What was he doing in 1964, 1967 & 1974 for him to not know this!
It is bad enought that he can't spell a four letter word off the top of his head. What makes it worse is that he thought he was being clever about spelling it out. Hoist by his own petard.
I happen to think he's quite reasonable and respectable as a journalist and individual. Everyone makes mistakes. The sign of a good journalist is the ability to tell a story both good or bad effectively. Bush's poll numbers may not be high by
Russert, aka Mr. Potatohead, quivering with delight whenever reporting bad news for President Bush, shows once again that he is the dumbest pundit on the networks.
