If you don't know how to mix audio, don't add music to videos that already have sound. It is unlistenable. And I get that you must really like this godawful song, so I will refrain from any further comments on musical taste.
I know the crew that was on that run and the drivers are still shocked about that. Noobody knows to this day what went wrong. Everything was done right to secure the load and the drivers did what they trained to do. The only thing I can say is that Thank God nobody got hurt or killed.
Oh shit, I was in town the day that happened. I've got a video of a related component for that silo. Same outfit IRH hauling a pressure vessle for the Chevron refinery that that oiece was headed too.
I bet someone cut him off. And I bet he lost his load in order to save someones life. And I BET he didn't loose his job cause the freeways are full of idiot 4wheelers doing stupid stuff around semi trucks.
@bookworm1960 The pilot car in the rear held 5 lanes of traffic and kept people from getting killed while this thing was whipping around before it flipped. Also pilot cars have no control over the load, it is our job to keep the general public safe and out of the way in case something like this happens. Both cars were doing their jobs.
@trikmitruk "My hobby is spell checking, and ,you need to go back to skool", uhhhh didn't you just say right here, "I bet YOUR right"? It's you're sweetheart.
He didn't, I work with this driver on a regular basis. This was not his fault or a result of any negligence on his part. Several factors contributed to this load flipping but it was not driver error.
@308scoutrfl The drivers both still work for this company, the vessel was taken back to the manufacturer, checked for safety and ultimately re-shipped safely to it's destination, and yes the original driver took it the second time as well without incident. This driver is VERY experienced and has hauled bigger things than this without incident. This was an accident, plain and simple.
yeah that was a million dollar "pick" I work with these cranes all the time. It's one thing to have a date set, but it's another to have one be an emergency responce. Hope he had good insurance.
proly a case of a load a driver dident have the experince for

Ugh, Shit Lake Salty, so glad I don't live there anymore. Some twit probably cut in front of the truck.
After all the driver license tests there are 'open book', that basically means you don't need to know shit about a vehicle to get your license.

Welcome to Utah! I remember this. It was quite the cleanup project. I believe the driver blew a steer tire if this is the crash I am thinking of.

Don't these oversize loads require multiple inspections and signatures on various D.O.T. forms before they roll?
Also, don't they have leading and/or trailing escorts?
If so, this is not the fault of just the driver.

I heard the driver of the vehicle with an oversized load was filming oncoming traffic on the other side of the highway when they "wiped out".

The load was not improperly secured, the trailer and the pull truck flipped with the load. Check your facts.
