Great song! Great new album! We love Marty Stuart. Marty takes over the Watseka Theatre watseka Illinois on Saturday July 2, 2011. I have my tickets. Are you going?
if you get the chance to see these guys....do so. they are on top of their game and will throw heat all nite. had a friend who wasn't really into country and this was jaw dropping to her. nothing but smiles all nite.
Remember seein' the Lucinda at the Fillmore circa 99 or 2k and Kenny Vaughn was is the band and I was impressed. The other guitar player was some poseur from Austin and the drummer needed to be shot but Mr. Vaughn held it all together and I sure wish he was in the band when I saw her last November because it was a real bummer without at least one talented musician in the band.
Love seeing Marty still playing Clarence White's original B bender Tele after all these years. Classic guitar, classy guy. Such a talent. Fabulous Superlatives indeed!
@frankgaron2 Somewhere I still have an album of Lester Flatt live at Vanderbilt University. Marty was playing mandolin with Lester in about 1972 at age 13. and played on that album.
yes, you're right. i think it is an original. for his music, try amazon, itunes or marty's sight. you should find everything he's done. most record stores blow now, anyway.
You're right, but I live in the SF Bay Area, and they did not have a single Marty CD at Ameoba's in Berkeley! Wow. I found a couple at Rasputin, but it was his most recent stuff. Very Lame, you would think the Bay Area had it together.
You'd think. But I live in Vancouver and it's the same story. There's some of his recent stuff in the mega CD stores and that's it. I found the sellers listed on Amazon have everything at a good price and they deliver quickly.
@drchristopher3726 They released these tunes on his latest 2010 release, titled Ghost Train, on SugarHill records. When I made this video it had not been released yet. Great recording, highly recommended!

This is what good honky-tonk music sounds like. I've been a fan of Marty Stuart for over two decades now.

I must have been standing right next to you. Cousin Kenny truly was the coolest man in San Francisco that night

Is this an original song by MS? Can't seem to find an original. Any ideas? Good tune.

I've been looking for this song on his recordings, but haven't found it. Sadly you don't find a good selection of his work in record stores.
