hahaahahahahahahaha! NICE! Varric is the only character in DA2 worth a damn. Bioware really needs to work harder on creating the Morrigan's, Allistair's, Oghren's, Leianna's Zevren's and Sten's in DA3 that they had in Origins. part of what made the first one so amazing was the amazing characters.

Dragon Age II might not be as good as Dragon Age: Origins, but i do think it might still be worth buying just too get a chance at meeting Varric!

I disagree with you. Dragon age II is a good as origins, and in some aspects it is better. From example, the combat system is much better than origins in my opinion. Also, I like the fact that character you play with talks, unlike the origins.

As for the storyline, both have great storyline

Why arrows are better than bullets. Lesson one presented by Varric Tethras:

After killing a man, you can step on his body and easily reclaim the arrow.

Said arrow is then used to kill again, and again, and again. If need be.

@LadyNiltiak1412 actually thats a cross bow bolt, which can be retrieved and reused. In reality arrows were specifically designed with that pointed hook (the traditional arrow shape) so that they were not easy to remove without causing even more damage, or so that the head comes off inside the wound keeping it open. Plus the enemies could not remove the arrow and use it to return fire. We did medieval weapons at college, good times.
