  • i know those theyre crested polish chickens

  • it was 2 short but i liked the chickens they were cute

  • got 8 chicks buff orfingtonns 5 and 3 astralops.

  • Just a suggestion that worked very well for me. Put your chicken yard or run on skids. Now cut an entrance door on all sides of the coup. They love all the grass in their yard. But as they poop they will kill the grass. Just drag the yard section to another side of the coup and they will have brand new grass again. They will love it! You can do this on all four sides of the coup. Then you can collect the poop from the old area for compost. And the grass will return. Try it, you might like it.

  • I love the opening dulcimer music, not to mention your coop!!!!!!!!!

  • Just a lil note.. You should raise you house about two feet off of the ground so the floos won't rott.. My two houses are 3 feet from the ground....

  • Nice coop! Do you have a set of plans for this design? In about 2 months or so, we will be building one as well. Thanks!

  • Sorry about replying so late. This is just one big cube built from 4x8 plywood..two sheets per side, two for the roof and two for the floor. We then cut doors and windows out.

  • yay tape measure lol

  • the wierd looking ones are called polish chickens. you cant really tell which is a rooster or a hen because when they get big they all look the same

  • you folks are awesome! i live south of boston and things here ,well the people are rude. i am 36 and miss the old days and ways, are the going forever? this year i will have chickens! and tomatoes and cucumbers and lettuce. you rock chris r. marshfiled mass.thankyou

  • try a country town i live in a town were everyone nows everyone

  • thats the way to go

  • @papakeetee Have pity on people from Boston. I have been there and believe me they hate themselves as much as they hate everyone else. What a sad way to live. Come on down to the south. People down here are loving and considerate of others. One thing I can promise you, in the south it is impossible to starve! People care.

  • Thank you for the inspiration on building and hope!

  • the poffy headed ones are called polish
