hello : ONE ADVICE : put the 3 times the contact to warm the spark plug car and turn off all the consumer auxiliary : RADIO , CLIMATIC air etc ! and then give the key ! she must start better ! good rides !
-18 это предел, когда fabia заводится более или менее нормально, как на видео. ниже этой отметки уже гораздо хуже заводится, а в -22С уже 50/50 заведётся или нет. максимум я заводил при -25С, да и то как то случайно так получилось.
I have Octavia too, and the best test for start was in this winter when couple days temperature was below -25 C. Good petrol, good batterie, good engine - no problems
@Levsins Well of course you had no problems,it's a petrol engine,but martinmcz has a diesel engine,which is much more sensitive to cold temperatures.Anyway,octavia's are awesome.
Při mínus dvaceti ti nepomůže ani baterka. Myslím, že start nebyl špatný, dokonce mi přijde, že to chytlo dobře. Nějákým dobíjením baterky bych se tu neoháněl...
@jeesjees2 Except for some scandinavian countries and russia, block heaters are unheard of here in europe. Most recent diesels never glow longer than 5secs. It's called progress.
@CreRay Hello from Lapland! Except for this years summer the winters are still so cold that, while diesel engines may start without pre-heating, they will surely chew away the battery from our cars! I once (accidentally, forgot) started my TDI in -25 celcius. I just wondered why the glow cycle took so long, then I realised. ;) It must have been just around five seconds back then.
uuuuhh jebote

Chytlo to velice dobře.

strakiCZE 1 year ago
Pro jistotu budu přimíchávat do paliva 10% benzínu, to pak v takým mrazu chytá dobře.

why did the glow plugs go off so quick??
raduvas90 2 years ago
@raduvas90
I guess the engine was plugged to a heater.
Gotta love the sound of a diesel engine in the morning.
