  • perfect^^

  • I wonder who disliked this? Wink Wink!

  • nice video

  • Did the commentator say 'holy fuck' at 0:07 ??

  • alberto del rio

  • @memimx

lol this is real martial arts not wwe

but yeah im a fan of alberto del rio

  • was that harai makikomi?

  • volk han special.

  • I would be scared to use that, I mean you could break somebodys arm so easily or pop it out of place.

  • @lattask8er that's uh.. that's what it was made for.

  • @GrayEyedWolf Yea if you really wanted to hurt someone, but in a competition like this your not really trying to break any arms.

  • @lattask8er it takes alot of pressure to actually snap an arm, and i guess i understand how adrenaline can make you put enough pressure to snap their arm, but you don't do it as hard as you can. you start off with little pressure then gradually increase it until they tap.

    i'm sure they drink milk.

  • @GrayEyedWolf no it dosent takes alot of pressure u incompetent it takes the good spot thats all

  • @GrayEyedWolf yea it only takes 8-14lbs of pressure to break an elbow, thats actually not as hard as you would think

  • That was sick as hell

  • Damn that was too sick

  • that my friend. is fuckin badass.

  • Beautiful!! Simply perfection!

  • dang man sick!

  • Great video, great technique

  • that is insane!!!

  • good

  • who is the guy with the whit gi? this guy is awesome!

  • A good lesson to always be wary of your opponents grips heh.

  • you can't do flying armbars in Judo. I am sure you can do them in UFC.

  • @khaking02 Flying arm bar is legal in Judo, its illegal to throw with the arm lock applied.

  • @Jimmynable my sensei has been telling everyone that it is illegal. and when the rules get read off during tournaments, they state that it is illegal also.

  • @khaking02 Ur sort of right. Basically your not allowed to apply the lock until ur on the ground but ur allowed to set it up the same. Maybe its changed I only recently started Judo again, I'll ask my coach about it tonight.

  • @Jimmynable its illegal to applied the joint lock in motion, too many arms been broken cause ppl couldnt tap.

  • there are alot of rules in mma, no hits to the back of the head, no overhead elbows (muay thai style), no kicks to face while one the ground, no "lowblows", no faking or acting like your in pain, but im pretty sure flying armbar is legal, correct me if I am wrong I would like to be sure

  • nah there legal

and in japan some of those illegal moves u listed are legal

  • flying armbar is leagal... where you're getting this "no overhead elbows" I dont know... I see it all the time in MMA. What league do you watch :S

  • UFC, It's definently illegal there

  • you can throw them but they can't hit above the forehead (top of the head), in the UFC anyways

  • watch the matt hamel and jon jones fight..they are illegal

jon jones is disqualified for 12 to 6 elbows..like a clock not how many lol

  • flying armbar is legal and so is flying triangle..almost any submission that doesnt involve small joint manipulation

  • That no small joint manipulation rule kills me, that's a huge part of a lot of traditional styles.

  • wow this guy is fucking fancy... very good and unorthodox

  • i like how he jus grooves into the submission hold

  • that was more impressive than the flying armbar

  • it legal in UFC nobody does it usually, they put it in the game

  • a Flying Armbar is illegall....how bout in the UFC

    i dint kno bout this

but if i had the chance i would learn JUDO nd BJJ combined

  • who ever said a flying armbar is illegal in mma?

  • How is it illegall that bull shit... only head butss and pussy hit and back of the went your on the ground but everything else is legal

  • Flyin armbar... Not legal anymore

  • are you serious?! why?

  • When did they make that rule?

  • After Dave Camarillo started terring up the competition with flying armbars, read about it on his book guerilla jiujitsu.

  • does that mean the flying triangle hold is illegal?

  • Sick!

  • Amazing just amazing..............i have so much more respect for judo now

  • Beautiful man!

  • The arm bar was art, the second throw, not worth an ippon, would of been given a yuko I reckon, they give Ippons for any throw nowadays.

  • Awesomness

  • that was fucking beautiful XD

  • Those moves were beautiful!

  • that was art.

  • great armbar

  • SICK!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • ha, that's exactly how Jun does it in Tekken II

  • No need to assume. I have been to Rickson's in West LA but prefer Hayastan. In Hayastan you drink from the well - directly from Gokor. At Gracie's place nothing but a few pictures of Rickson. LOL Plus Gracie's is ran like a business - no soul. I put a guy in a leg lock during sparring and the instructor started yelling and screaming "no leg locks, do not want to get sued". UUUUHHHHH What? Is it a dojo or???????? this was written buy your bjj friends!!

  • Gokor is in his early 40 s. He makes a lot more money teaching than fighting. The Gracies are phenominal and made grappling mainstream. However, they refined ju-jitsu in 1925 and thereafter. Many moves they do were done decades before in carnivals in Europe and America. They were done by catch wrestlers such as Ed Strangler Lewis and others. At the same time, grappling was developed centuries before in Asia.

Gokor is so fluid in this video clip that it,s safe to assume he is the real deal.

  • how do we even know that whole time line of when bjj existed is true. this was stories told buy the gracie family not doccumented facts. Karl Gotch the father of catch wrestling was no push over if the bjj system was the ultimate art why has it only hit lime light thease last years your bjj guys went to Japan and was getting merked by Jap fighters the gi got Royces ass whooped good theroy to were gi in a mma fight ohh they were real fighters he fought in pride not street fighters with fake belts

  • also Gene Lebells apprintance would tap out any bjj guy you could name even the great rickson gracie with his overrated wins.

  • marcelo garcia would smoke any of lebells boys and when did any judo or sambo guys win abu dhabi i cant recall any

  • thats a lie look up Gokor chavichain he is rated better than your boy Rickson he actualy has 400 recorded wins in mma, grappling, sambo, bjj, jujitsu, judo contest and truely has never lost

  • thats only because many of them enter other elite grappling contest also gracies ran from the challenge from lebell and gokor gokor is the #1 rated grappler ever they only submissionist to come up with over 1000 diffrent submissions no gracie or bjj guy has done that read about him you will bew supprized to find out graice jj isnt what its all hyped up too! Why hasnt BJJ beet fedor? Sambo master?

  • while everything you say is generally true fedor is pretty versed in bjj(although sambo and judo mainly)as well or he would have been submitted sooner or later. gokor has bjj training as well(i dont care what anyone says) to further diversify his grappling. i am not taking anything away from him but why has he never entered adcc(the best grappling tournament on earth)and won it. the bottom line is every elite grappler has bjj in their arsenal even if only a little.

  • fedor nor gokor learned there jujitsu from the bbj guyz though they learned it from the original masters the Japan style jujitsu. Also Gokor competed in competitions that existed befor adcc was even around some of the same contest your beloved Rickson competed in also he never lost a match out of 400 grappling nhb judo and sambo matches Rickson lost in sambo!

  • out of curiosity why do you keep insisting that rickson is my boy? i dont remember ever saying that(maybe i did i dont see why i would have though)marcelo garcia and jean jacques machado are my heros in grappling. hell i have video of a migliarese brother(team balance my school is affiliated with) in russia defeating the world sambo champion that is no lie.marcelo garcia is my true hero and i would put him no gi against anyone in the world, all 170 pounds of him

  • garcia is tight I like drysdale though my bad for insisting Rickson is your boy dont get me wrong I like bjj I just think the gracies are overrated I like mario sperry too but Im telling you take you a trip and train with gokor that man is the shit he has never been defeated in any competition.

  • drysdale is pretty badass. eddie bravo is pretty good too. i know mario by name but not very familiar with him. i am not much for the gracies but i have to give them their respect for what they have done for grappling. i live in ny so a trip to gokor is kinda out of the question(for now)

  • hey maybe you can answer this I have tremendous power and submission skills my main problem is cardio. I know running sprints but here is my problem knee injury from the milatary jump school what is a good alternitive to get my cardio high without blowing out my knee?

  • you have the same problem that i have other than the knee my problem is my back and shoulder. if you have access to a pool that is pretty good or a bike maybe but for me the best cardio is just rolling at my jiu jitsu school. are you in the army i was enlisted in the army(82nd Airborne) but had some legal issues before my leave date then my girlfriend became pregnant screwed that idea up

  • I was pj special ops air force then I cross trained to air crew life support and flight line inspections after my injury. thanks for the suggestion is a bike as good cardio as running?

  • its honestly depends on what level you have the bike on... if you have it on the easiest setting then no... If you have it at a hard setting yes

  • if i am you, i would look to traditional training where it tend to heal the body while training it, like hindu workout, tai - chi, etc. Matt furey, is specilise in a lot of healing work out tat i praticse to actually cured my back problem. i supose a direct answer is avoid workign out ur knee while u cardio the rest of ur body

  • Maybe because Fedor hasnt and doesnt enter any bjj or submission tournaments. Apart from mma all he has entered, as far as i am aware, are judo and sambo tourneys and as we all know, a bjj specialist doesnt always do well in mma, eg: schembri. It would be interesting to see Fedor enter something like abu dhabi. Whilst i doubt he would win, i wouldnt be surprised if he did well and i would never say never.

  • actually fedor comp in sambo and grappling tournaments sambo events are the same as bjj with leg locks and sometimes strikes. And I think he would do fairley well in abu dhabi alot of his matches are one both by strikes and quick precise submissions to be a heavy weight he is flexible and agile like a mid weight or light heavy weight

  • What are you on about? I said that hes entered sambo tournaments, and no they arent the same as bjj with leg locks. Anyway, there are some leg locks in bjj tournaments. How would his stiking help him in ADCC? There are no strikes, it is a submission grappling tournament. Oh, and what submission grappling tournaments has fedor entered exactly? Honestly, i didnt know he had, please enlighten me.

  • your totaly wrong and lebell was around then also the anaconda choke is just another name for the front choke also they guard position was not invented buy them may have been utilized by them which has no good in a street fight becuase you get stomped to death by your nemisis freinds and sombo does have choke I know because I fight mma and train combat sambo also its so easy to catch a bjj guy in a leg lock because they ahrdly train them.

  • i dont know where those bjj guys train but where i train everyone has an extensive knowledge of leglocks. you name one grappling art that is any good against multiple opponents, none of them. thats why we crosstrain in muay thai where i train. and one on one bjj is superior to any art with the same amount of training applied. the black belts that i know enter sambo tourneys all the time and mop the floor with everyone. and bruce lee was not around in the 1920s so get over that, you sound stupid

  • why havent none of your bjj black belts beat fedor, or igor vovochain, I can name some more sambo trained guys that have held titles and no brazilians have beat. And you might train leg locks but awhile ago they were banned in bjj competitions until they started getting beat buy them also you say you train Muay Thi so Bjj is not supperior you have to train it all I know some strikers that have good take down def. and would knock out a bjj guy in a sec. (Bas Rutten) Cung Lee. You style is not #1

  • that is not streetfighting and self defense, that is professional fighting. and when mma first started nobody could beat royce so everyone had to start training bjj. as far as on the street 99% of the people you may encounter are not trained and would be very easy to take down. and i love fedor he is the best but he never submitted a worthy bjj practitioner and minotauro held the pride belt and holds the ufc belt now. fuck my boy heath herring fucked igor up igor isnt half the fighter as fedor

  • i agree with you on Royce I give him his props but the only real fighters he faced was shamrock, severn, sakarba which he lost their first meeting, but the rest were brawler not true mma stylist. and royce taught them to train in ground grappling period not just bjj or striking but you see what happens to a grappler that do not train striking they loose too!

  • and thats a trade they picked up from sambo early bjj banned leg locks and did not train in them ask any older bjj instructor?

  • and lebell was born in 1932 so he wasnt around then but nice try

  • too bad brazilian jiu jitsu owns judo in everyway except takedowns

  • brazilians dont own no one its not about race its the individual fighter to bad brazilians dont hold there titles long in mma lol.

  • i dont understand what you are saying. i never said anything about race. although brazilians do tend to, as a nationality, do very well in mma. anderson and wanderlei silva, paulo filho, gabriel gonzaga are all pretty damn good. not to mention brazilians are the ones that basically invented mma(vale tudo)

  • thats false yea their are good fighters mma was created by greeks and romans they fought to the death you act like brazilians came up with this whole new concept of fighting. They learned it from the Japaneeze grappling has been around for ages before the gracies they just made everyone train in it instead of just striking arts!

  • the brazilians evolved jiu jitsu as you see it today. japanese jujitsu wasnt as ground based and the greeks and romans fought with weapons and horses and shit, not the same concept as modern mma. modern mma came from the 1920s in brazil, it was a circus side show kind of like the bearded lady if you will. people paid to enter a tent at the circus and watch men fight bareknuckles with absolutely no rules. look it up it is true

  • you realy dont know history greeks grappled catch wrestling was out before bjj Judo Gene Lebell (judo experet) taught even bruce lee in ground fighting he was a master of grappling before Bjj. Also your a lie Shoot wrestling (submission fighting) was going on way before the Jap. even taught brazilians their art the only thing the brazilians added to the art was fancy name like the guard mount sidemount instead of it being calle its actual Jap. name thank you I lived in Japan and been to brazil!

  • omoplata and gogoplata was invented by brazilians much more also. so while grappling may have been around along time the brazilians perfected it for the most part

  • before they came out with the weird names for thease submissions Jap jujitsu guys were already using thease techniques try again!

  • also i hate frank shamrock and am glad cung le won but you know damn well shamrock would killed him on the ground if he didnt have a big head and choose to stand with him

  • thats true shamrock is too cocky he use to be humble and his brother was a arrogant ass but now he is acting the same way. From what I can recall he has only been on the offence in a few fights he has always been a cum back fighter.

  • sambo is limited with pretty much no chokes

  • also mma did not start in brazil I have records of bruce lee even doing bare knuckle contest to prove that training in every art is the best art get of brazil dick they arent the originators of anything just borrowed someone elses shit also sambo has been around almost as long as bjj so sorry they are not the geniss behind the ground game.

  • bruce lee was not around in the 1920s bjj would own catch wrestling and judo on the ground. the gracies had jiu jitsu long before gene lebell was alive when japanese immigrants came to brazil and taught the gracie family jiu jitsu in exchange for getting them established in brazil. the brazilians evolved the techniques for little guys to use on big guys(helio gracie) hell they pretty much invented the guard and most of the submissions like brabo chokes and anaconda chokes for example

  • What does he do to his arm to get him to bend forward?

  • You push your hips up and the arm bends the wrong way at the elbow.

  • what a move..

  • Cool. I go to Judo and I'm 11. This Armbar is one of my signature moves.

  • you aren't allowed to use armbars at 11.
