Thanks! I actually haven't done any 3D animation, but I'm hoping that will change next year, as I'm applying to animation schools. Did you use Maya to create your animation? It's really amazing to watch.

Yes I used maya, it's a pretty easy program to learn (at first it's a little daunting). Where are you looking to apply? Ringling seems really good, I went to SVA in NY.
