Healthy relationships have a lot of COMMUNICATION, meaning, TALKING, whether through words, sign language, etc. You can't communicate properly with animals, and that's something that is needed to have a healthy, functioning relationship. So right off the bat you have a dysfunctional relationship, throw in the fact that sex should ALWAYS BE MUTUALLY CONSENTUAL, and animals can't consent to sex the way a GROWN ADULT can. That could be classified as rape/abuse seeing as they aren't agreeing to it.

Humans communication is 90% non-verbal (same is true for some animals) and they can still have a healthy relationship.
And sexually mature adult animals can consent to sex just as good as an adult human can.
Animals do agree to have sex with a human without the use of force or abuse.
Though yea... some people don't respect that consent and decide to rape and abuse when the animal don't want sex. But not all people do that.

You must have knowledge of the animal verbal and body language and how they use that language to consent or denied consent. You need to know about the mating rituals and sexual anatomy to have sex with them combined with the knowledge of how they give consent.
With dogs for example, a male will get aroused, get focus, pant, lick, smell, the penis tip will get out of the sheath some times shooting precum and will hump trying to copulate , this is how male dogs ask for sex.

Only when the pain is internal (like a broken leg or cancer) the dog MAY not show that he/she is in pain.

If they were really into consenting animal life they would also be attracted to humans but most are not. This is a delusitory state informed by a perception of equality that doesnt exist. Not only do the animals have more than 700 years of submission bred into them but they also are given little other consideration.
