How d'ya pay for so much work on your mouth? Is it expensive in the US? A 1000 Dollars or something, maybe You Tube videos paid it, to lift the general impressions :-D

Youtube doesn't care about MY impression. No, I qualified for a poor people's waiver on the extractions (it cost me $20 to have 23 teeth extracted) and friends of mine in Longbeach, CA bought the dentures for me ($775).

Wow that's great yoi managed to get it done. I've two really cracked open molars, but National Health Service dentists are as rare as hen's teeth, so I still have my creeks to play in with my tongue. Respect to you for being so brave.

I had a 70-something year-old dentist who yanked all 23 teeth out in an hour. He was pretty winded towards the end. Started panting as he pulled. Hahaha!

You are very brave and that's reassurring to those of us who have not yet faced up to having dental work done because it's fearful. I guess the best bit is you get to feel good about yourself after it's done and over, then you can say to others well it was unpleasant but it just happens and at a certain point you walk out of there with less of a problem.

Not really, it's the bacteria, and make sure you remain in treatment. Dentures are not the end of the road for your mouth, you are now on a different path. After a suitable healing period, look for a soft denture reline, a soft conformal coating that will allow your new dentures to seal and remain stable. If any more periodontal work needs to be done, get it done, as deteriorating bone is a prime growth medium for it, just thinking you're cured because you don't have "bad teeth" is a mistake.

Maybe I should've had just the top teeth extracted, learned to use top dentures, THEN had all the bottom teeth yanked out and learned the bottom dentures. Instead, I did everything at once and I have 23 holes in my mouth aching for painkillers.

Yep. There are adjustments and relinings to go through but first the swelling in my gums has to go down and the stitches removed. I had 23 (bad) tooth extractions in one hour yesterday.

I have lived in a home where a woman regularly went on a rampage I was so happy to be rid of all the drama. I have not worked in a couple months the wife is ratteling my cage quite regular as a result. We are not close to missing any payments but she is not understanding it too well. I am so tired of getting a job doing well and another thing prevents work back,knee,gault,sleep disorder.

SIr I wish I could just get disability I want to work but I took a bus driving job where no loading was required and aggrivated an injury in my back from the last job when a 18wlr backed into my truck. The job was taylor made for me M-F $12H they provide comfortable uniforms. I had to drive 2,5Hour shifts supervised and then be cut loose to drive alone W/passengers 8-10Hdays. I didn't make through the 1st,5H. I feel so discouraged I rarely see the sun I sit here in the dark H on passing Hour.

I worked with Steve at the same publishing house in Redondo Beach, CA for 6 months back in the early 90s. We were both graphic artists.We've kept in touch. The bad teeth have been messing with my health so they wanted to help.
