hahaha the 4.6 mustang's are such slow cars. A LT1 car can practically keep up and a LS1 and up clean house. It took a blower and a higher price to even compete with the 98-02 F-bodies. Thank God Ford finally got a REAL engine.

@Tj1056 just like mgrande11 stated below, "volumetric efficiency of ford engines far exceeds anything GM has designed." i know weight is a HUGE factor, but ford has a better power to weight ratio. and i would really hope that the corvette can destroy a mustang, otherwise GM would just be completely pathetic. im obviously a ford fan, proud owner of a 01 KB GT. but im more of a muscle car enthusiast rather than a fanboy, in a week ill have a 92 camaro. ford, GM, dodge > imports all day every day

@Tj1056 a stock mustang gt of the same year as an ls1 vette will lose, but the vette is lighter and has a bigger motor. but the vette is a sports car, a ford gt will walk all over an ls1 vette, and so will an 03/04 cobra.. but we're talking about stangs and camaro's here, and the whole point is that ford builds better motors than gm. the new 5.0 beats the new camaro ss. imagine if ford put a 6.2 in the new mustang, it would be game over for GM. im not starting an argument, just stating facts.

I run a 1988 Camaro IrocZ with the 350 TPI. These were only 3500lbs, Mustang for the same year were 3445. The only Generation Camaros that were Heavier by a big margin were the 2nd and 5th gens. And tbh i used that ford reference on purpose b/c it was the most commonly heard.
