Android is nice, but it looks and sounds a lot more promising than it really is; I got rid of my HTC Hero last month after having it for around 3 months because Android majorly lacks development. Not only does it barely have any third party interest at all, it doesn't seem to have much attention payed by Google either. Symbian and iPhone OS have a bigger future right now, but with all these new Android devices being released lately it may pick up...

MultiTouch is a MUST have on these touchscreen devices. Also, Android interface is very PC-like. Too many small buttons to press with you finger. But Android definatelly has great future.

I own an Iphone but I think I'd buy the Archos 5 instead of an Ipod touch. Specifically because of the price ($219 on amazon for the 250G) and the amount of 3rd party games that will likely be available on the android system.

Wont give up my Iphone though. over 135 apps and loving it.

@onlywhenprovoked I actually love Google. I'm a big fan of all their software on how they always work on a new take on other popular tasks, like browsing the web ( Chrome ), and makes it better.

Even if you don't think it's better, it's open source and thus, free. So there's no reason to complain about it sense you're not losing anything.

This is a pretty cool tablet, but the fact that it doesn't have access to the android market is pretty bad. There is a 3rd party market that you can download to this device (its not as good but its at least something), but until it gets the android market I don't think I would get this.
