@C94B yeah =( try ds9clan.co.uk, it's basically you auto connect to their server, auto download updates, no other programs needed not even the original freelancer, just download it =D

For Everyone that is saying when it is coming out, It will be When they fix most of important Errors, In Closed Beta Forums, there are Lots of Bug reports, it Maybye will be out in 2011, Probably February, they are launching lots of New patches :D

@VaygrX yeah one of the problems that r huge is the patches and the DLL errors so i suggest is best to wait for the CB to c for your self and check any bugs so when the full game comes out there won't be any or just do something during the time...

Oh my word i just want this thing to come out, ive been told the only types of ships for players are going to be fighters, i really hope it isnt like that because you need the larger ships for that epic feel. also not everyone wants to just Dogfight other fighters, some like mining rocks and flying cargo ships.

The choice boils down to controller, joystick, and Keyboard and mouse. I hope they give players a choice. My hands cant withstand prolonged use on keyboard. Maybe I can use a joy. Maybe.

its looks good  cuz i like to meeet players out side of ship cuz most be in space so we wont see out full body and others ? if you guys remember earth & beyond we was able to walk in the stations taslk and what ever and loved it and crafting on station atm jump game e they just started to get the pilot view this is free to play black prophey yay

I hope they won't make a cash-shop which imbalances the game too much. But my expectations are very high since I always wanted a space-mmorpg but Eve soaks up too much time I guess :)

@Macsimus007 This well be similar in game play to the old Wing Commander and Colony Wars (PS1) Space shooter games. I for one am very excited as I loved the scripts and flight system of Colony Wars, not many games have used somethign like it but it's more realistic.

@DrAlexandrius Correct, similar to Eve (if you've played it) you can create special feature to cusomize the (bust) of your character. If you watch the full E3 2010 Video Series, they are considering station walking. *Slow Tear Comes to eye's

(Eve has brought this up, but went with planet conrol and acces instead)

@fre3w4re If you see the MMORPG Web Link for this Game they have an interview with the Design staff. In the interview they assure several things, and one of those is that the best items an weapons well not be in the Cash shop, that for the most part the Cash Shop well be for personal (appearance) items and some average quality items.

@DRripsaw Definately, Everyone's sick of folowing Jumpgate Evolution because it's been 4 years since the original announcement, and huge lack up info, no updates, and everythign they show they spend 4 paragraphs assuring that it's not permanent and may change. (Most Has) Jumpgate well be the most Carebear (Ages 6-12) Space MMO the way they ahve it set up. I highly reccomend Black Prophecy if you want a true Individuals experience.

@ibonner Steam is the devil, resource hog, and you have to keep it to get anything, only advantage is having digital game downloads ^_^

Onlying similar to BP right now is Colony Wars (PS1) and the Wind Commander Series (SNES, PS1, PC)
