  • i wonder what the challenger would be like with a vinyl top and chrome trim. it needs something to make it look more seventies, than just the shape.

  • The 6speed is awesome! I drove the car it rocks your socks off!!!

  • i saw it on woodward today

  • she doesn't have her seatbelt properly worn.

  • This is definitely a very badass car. There's no other new car like it.

  • Ford can't touch DODGE!!!

  • that guy is right hot aint the word for it

freakin ugly is more like it if u want a musle car u gota get a 69 charger or 67 shelby GT 500

  • IT's all about--******AMERICAN MUSCLE******

  • I don't know what all this non-Hemi talk is; the cheaper model that comes out later is supposed to have a 5.7L Hemi. Not a 4.7L Magnum...

  • Yes, Ford was the first to re-produce their muscle car (the Mustang) similar to how it looked back in the 70's.

And while I do like how it looks and performs, it doesn't mean Ford owns the rights to re-introduce old school muscle and looks.

Regardless, there wasn't a production car (ie: one that "John Q. Public" could afford) offered in the 60's/70's that could match the Hemi. And I believe that Dodge won't hold any punches with their new Hemis.

Simply put, Mopar owned/owns the competition.

  • It's too bad the first challengers will all be auto's. the 2009 versions will have manual transmissions though. It's probally a good thing for me. I want the manual so i have more time to save up >.>

  • I WANT TWO

  • I want one!

  • too bad gas is $3.59 a gallon

    a day late and a dollar short~

if you have a company car for the week, then maybe its cool.

  • So the non hemi would still be an 8 right?

  • So does it really come out next year, or 2009?

  • This car ROX...

    how much it will cost?

  • 42k

  • As MikeB1444 said, around 40k($40,095 US) for the Limited-Edition SRT8 with the mag-fucking-nificent 6.1 Liter HEMI coming out early next year(ordering is now available if you have the dough). Don't worry though, later next year they'll come out with a full production series with cheaper models, hopefully somewhere around $22-25,000 USD.

  • You're right. Chrysler Motors is taking deposits. In Hemi form the car is slated to be set at $38,000-$45,000 depending on the options. Of course the first run will likely exceed $50K due to demand. The non Hemi will be in the same price range as the non GT mustangs.

    Love that....mag-fucking-nificent 6.1 Liter HEMI

  • This is one BAD A** CAR!!!!!!!
