In the computer world there is no distinction between hardware and software. Hardware is simply software in physical form and vice versa. Seems to me the same would apply to the human brain. Memories (software) are stored in the brain as chemicals (hardware).
@xpaderom i'm glad you said his book is good. i would like to get his book on audio and listen to it while driving, this subject is very interesting and the possibilities are amazing.
@morrisonhotel86 For what it's worth, I'm a religion-and-science PhD. I'm not quite ready to embrace Tucker's conclusions, but I found most of his arguments to be carefully made and I appreciated his cautiously worded conclusions. I intend to look into this subject a bit further thanks especially to my encouraging experience with Tucker's book.
