my fave thing about this band is how down to earth they are... I feel like even though they have had so much success they never really became "those guys" who grew up, got famous, and then lost touch... they really seem down to earth... and the lyrics are always so intense... hands down, best band in a LONG time.

You know, I love the Goos to death, but I can't stand Brad. What the hell has he done to Acoustic #3? By very definition, the song is acoustic. I could stomache a solo by him in this song, he just has to do it on an acoustic guitar. Or a mandolin--He can play mandolin!

hey, has anyone seen their 2004 Buffalo concert?? Omg, what a wild ride: it started raining, and their electric guitars wouldn't work, so they had to go accoustic. The band & audience are soaking wet--then, John tears off his shirt, throwing it into the audience!! & despite all of this, they sounded better thruout the whole show than they did on their album!! INCREDIBLE!!

I like the self deprecation, and when he messes up and just says 'oops'. We all do that even the best; great song-writer though, many songs seem to reach out to a bit in all of us. I read a bit of his story, and he appears to have had a tough life, but he survived- good on yer, John.
