  • MOUSE CURSOR AT 1:27!!

  • I'll bet money that those polygons are pre rendered animated sprites themselves (ala viewpoint on the Neo Geo) rather than real time.

  • @trydowave naturally

  • this music is from the game?

  • are those polygons real time? They must be pre-rendered.

  • i hate videos like this cause e very time i see some games like that i feel like omfg pwnz i need now to play that game and beat it and here im am going to search it right away fuck yeah

  • i have this game on my phone xD took me a while to find the correct iso, cue, wav but i found it! also took a bit to get it working but it works. it's fun. now..i'm just waiting for my class 6 sd so i can fit it haha

  • @CaptainCrunchityzer A copy. I wish i had an original CD.!!

  • That first song screams Mega Man X.

  • Wow Hudson went all out with this shooter...They really loved their console. Looks more like a saturn or Playstation game.

  • If English name is "Legend of Galaxy Police Lady Sapphire".

  • Wow... how nostalgic! I haven't heard this music for so many years!!!!

    Great game!!

  • this was my favorite shooter game. I use to have this but did they port this to any other console? I know Wii has Lords and Gates of Thunder... I loved this game!

  • sorry

  • I know....I was just joking. lolzz

  • Please put the real 16-bits chip music on.....dont make this game look good by putting some hard rock tune!

  • And the Pc Engine has only 8 bits.

    E PER ESSERE UN OTTOBBIT!

  • This was also a CD based title, so hard rock wasn't out of the question. In fact, the game does feature rock complete with guitar shredding. Gate of Thunder and particularly Lords of Thunder (also PC-Engine games) also feature some serious guitar shredding.

Ah, the magic of Red Book audio.

  • 400 bucks for this? Wow!

  • Current price here starts at 17,180yen, or about $190USD.

  • This was ported over to the PSP, but for some reason they took out the 2-player function.

  • The real deal will cost you in the $400 range. A boot will cost you about $80, but I hardly see them anymore.

  • where can you buy this game can't find it on ebay.

  • $600 as of now...

  • holy shit this game rocks

  • 3D polygons... on a 1987 system... :O

  • No, it's just 2D. These graphics are prerendered. The Arcade Card Extension with additional 2 MB RAM is needed to play this game.

  • System 3.0 is 2MB more.

    Arcade card is 16MB expansion.

  • It's MegaBITS, not MegaBYTES.

The original CD-ROM2 card (v.1.0-2.0) had 1Megabit, or 64Kilobytes of memory.

The Super CD-ROM2 card (v.3.0) had 2 Megabits, or 256 Kilobytes of memory.

The Arcade CD-ROM2 card (still v.3.0) had 16 Megabits, or one Megabyte of memory (for comparison, the Sony playstation also had one Megabyte of Video RAM; 2 Megabytes of main RAM)

  • Well, there ya go. Thanks for the correction.

    BTW, wouldn't 16 Mbits be 2MB, not 1MB?

  • Oh crap, you're right! 8Mbits = 1MB. My mistake! I remember reading that the Arcade Card was 1MB, so that means it would be 8Mbits...

  • Nope, the Arcade card is 2048Kb(2MB)/16Mbits. It is DEFINITELY 16Mbits.

  • 16 MB of RAM. This is arcade card power. TURBO POWER!

  • @RoglesOfCaledonia im amzed that can use polygons and rendered graphics on a old system

  • Everything looks so great on the turbo graphx.

  • its kick ass but i would pay 400 4 it

  • now who the fuck WOULDNT want this game?

    THIS GAME KICKS GUTSMAN'S ASS

  • Holy crap dragon-best game ever

  • I'm so glad this game is getting a port on the PSP, and it'll be out by the end of July (just a few more days).

  • It looks like recycling... I hope the port will be nice.

  • I was able to score a bootleg of this game years ago on eBay. The auction went unnoticed by eBay cuz the seller was actually promoting the arcard card and hinted at the game.

  • Sprite morphing and polygons on the PCE... Amazing stuff.

  • It was quite impressive for a PC Engine game. I still marvel at how well it looks and plays even still today. I hope they bring this game to the Virtual Console because it's long overdue for a release outside of Japan. Of course, most Japanese gamers didn't get a chance to own the game anyway so they'll obviously be interested in a VC release if ever there is one.

  • @virtualturbo lifeforce on steroids

  • I see T's Music was involved with the music in this game. They did the music for Gate of Thunder and Lords of Thunder.

  • I've been trying to find info on T's Music but haven't had much luck. They also did music for the awesome psx fighter Evil Zone - one of my favorite games of all time.

  • I also found out they also did the remixed music in the Sega CD version of Final Fight.

  • nope..only for WoT. GoT is nick woods responsibility ;)

  • Amazing game! Great video! Gimme more!

  • Another awesome vid. I've heard of this one before. I had no idea it was 2 player, though. Cool. The title screen and music remind me of Bulk Slash, another awesome game by hudson for the sega saturn.

  • Yes, and it's actually one of the better two-player shooters I've ever played. And there is little to no slowdown in this entire game, although you do have to have the Arcade Card to play it. But WOW is it expensive. : )

  • "The title screen and music remind me of Bulk Slash" <- It's the same development team, that's why ;)
