AOE means "Area of effect"; when you attack with a spear, you can hit more than one enemy, you will hit all the enemies that are inside the area of your spear's angle-movement in front of you. And if you use the Whirlwind attack, you hit all the enemies around you (if they are close enough).

@vyktrank you don't hit all enemies when attacking with a spear . You can hit up to 3 at once. When using skill however yes all of them. ( the 3 at once thing gets higher with buffs SAs etc)

@skatastontafotouplat Well, when I used to play (Chronicles III and IV) I was able to hit more than 3 with a normal spear attack, but it required to be a little skilled to place yourself correctly so you could as many enemies as possible. Maybe they've changed that now, I don't know, if that's the case it'd be a pity.

Well, I think a party with a Warlord, an Elemental Summoner, Overlord and Bishop is better.

By the way, mdilligaf, I've known very good warlords at pvp, true masters in the art of fighting.

One 7x Destroyer, one 7x BH, and one 7x SwS pulling 6-8 rooms at a time in Disciple's. 0.7-1% per pull at 62. Never seen anything like it. AoE parties are spectacular.
