  • Hey- it's Barnebey - totally forgot about the guy dropping oil in front of you

  • I would love to hear what the step up from the mazda to the Indy Lights was like. From a viewers perspective the indy lights look faster but more planted and stable. Fantastic video, would love to see more!

  • @Ghostca There is a pretty substantial difference between the Firestone Indy Lights car versus the Star Mazda. First and foremost it is longer and wider, which makes it more stable as you mentioned. Beyond that there is quite a lot more weight to handle in slow speed corners, and a lot more downforce to utilize in the fast stuff. It's a step that takes some getting used to, as the FIL car is nowhere near as nimble as the Star Mazda.

  • @anderskrohn Thank you so much for the reply Anders, it looks like you are adapting to the change very well. I am always interested in the difference between the cars up the motorsports latter. The step from the FIL to the IZOD indy cars will be a more substantial jump but along the same lines; larger, heavier but faster and higher DF. I spoke to an ex indy car driver who said it was like driving a shifter-kart with smaller tires. I hope you can describe the difference for me one day soon :P

  • No St Pete onboard? Great vid Anders!

  • @redbulllrb3 Unfortunately there was oil covering the lens throughout the St Pete race. It was a fantastic venue though and I hope to go back there!
