HI there. We have owned a carnival for over three years with absolutely no probs escept for the stereo which they replaces. it was new in 2005 and we have kept all the servicing up with NO probs at all. A great car. The pre 2003 were dodgy but after the bad press they are fine
My old People own a 2004 Kia Carnival LS, it has done around 500 000Kms in the past 4 years from driving down and up the east coast of Australia most of the time. Even after 500 000kms on the clock there has been no engine trouble or problems just done the servies for eg - Oil, Filters, Timing belts, Clutch, Changed coolant and umm Frount ball joints and All breaks etc.. But my old peoples Carnival has been the best car they have ever owned and has serverd them well the past 4 Years!!

That cars design is poor? YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!! it is the best minivan we have ever employed. I own 7 so far and are replacing all my taxis with Carnivals and Sedonas over the next 2 years. They are one of the best designed vans ever and i only discovered that by accidently ending up owning one..........Your an idiot. The Kia is the only minivan to pass all 4 crash test ratings. It is the only minivan in which i will own 63 of, over the next 2 years.
