This is the best version of q-bert of the BBC I have seen. Solid sprites and good animation. Notice how the programmer gives the q-bert character a different animation when he goes up and down.

The BBC version of Snapper (Pacman) had to have the graphics changed. I had the game before they did this. Don't know how I missed "Bouncer" thought!

yeah, this is a q-man clone, like snapper is a pac-man clone, how did they get away with this blatant copying!

it seemed to be completely endemic in those days, people copied everyone elses ideas like crazy, I'm amazed that loads of people didn't get sued out of existence
