I am in the process of learning Japanese so that when I move there, I can fluently speak the language rather than going there speaking English and expect everyone else to do the same. @AgentCarter The laws of the US deal with immigration. And they deal with ID for visitors. Green cards and visas are required to be kept on the person of all foreign nationals. We have the right to ask for and check this ID. Law enforcement requires we check ID on suspected criminals . Illegal immigrants are criminals.

The only people who object to having them checked by law enforcement are the illegal ones. The legal ones are proud to show their green card or visa when asked to do so. It states clearly on the card that it is to be carried at all times and surrendered to authorities when asked to do so.

Those who do , I thank, those who don't I arrest until further examination. I can easily have 10 by noon every day of the week.

When conducting sweeps we can use the media if necessary to tell everyone to take their ID with them for awhile, or they may be inconvenienced while we check out their identities. We have the same problem with people coming across the border every day. We deal with it adequately.

basically, youre not going to deport all of them, give up on that. set up a law of conditional amnesty, in which you make all of them taxpayers. then, have a condition where if they commit a felony they get deported (much easier to deport people who are on the books, after the amnesty)
then, set up a new immigration policy with mexico and make it actually possible for workers to get in legally, that way you know that...

I am in the process of learning Japanese so that when I move there, I can fluently speak the language rather than going there speaking English and expect everyone else to do the same. The problem isnt with people trying to learn and eventually becoming proficient the problem is with people who come into the country without attempting to learn and then once here still not putting effort into learning the language.

@monkeybear25 Rounding up and deporting millions of illegal aliens would be very easy. And, it would happen rather quickly. Just put a bounty on them. Say, $100 per head.
I know many unemployed veterans who would gladly take on the job. Round up 10 every day, by noon, and collect $1000 for the day. No taxes. $1000 per day X 250 days per year (5 day work week) = $250,000 per year. 2500 aliens per bounty hunter per year X 5000 bounty hunters = 12,500,000 illegal aliens

@IplayMusic2 I don't think it will happen. just an idea to illustrate how easy it would be to do it. And it would be a boon for our economy too. Seems to me our "leadership" in this country is insane.
I like Mexican and Latino people. I like the language, the culture, the food, the architecture, even some of the music, but we cannot afford to have them here now. And, when they do return, it should be orderly, with police and health checks. Proper ID.

@AgentCarter Seriously. It would be very cost effective. We use bounty hunters now for the high profile valuable Mexican drug cartel criminals out there. Most work for Blackwater, in San Diego.They get more than $100 per catch.

We can no longer afford to pay for the education for the health care, for imprisonment for illegals. We don't have the money anymore. We must cause them to leave to recapture our sovereignty. We need the jobs too. Easy to find them where I live. All you gotta do is get deputized and trained up and ask for papers.

@AgentCarter The laws of the US deal with immigration. And they deal with ID for visitors. Green cards and visas are required to be kept on the person of all foreign nationals. We have the right to ask for and check this ID. Law enforcement requires we check ID on suspected criminals . Illegal immigrants are criminals.

@AgentCarter Just because you are fucked up doesn't mean everyone is. I know the law, unlike you. That is what the green card and visa are FOR dipstick. The only people who object to having them checked by law enforcement are the illegal ones. The legal ones are proud to show their green card or visa when asked to do so. It states clearly on the card that it is to be carried at all times and surrendered to authorities when asked to do so.

@HeisenbergSleptHere um, but that would require the assumption that they are not citizens. they wouldnt need a green card if they were not born here, which the bounty hunters dont know ahead of time. natural born citizens, like myself, dont carry around "papers" proving that we were born here. which leads back to my original comment, in which i said that you havent provided a real solution as to how to find out which people are illegals and where they are living

@AgentCarter Example: I live in SanDiego, Ca. I go down to Home Depot where I encounter some Latino Day Laborers. I am a deputy sheriff. I tell them to show me their green card. Those who do , I thank, those who don't I arrest until further examination. I can easily have 10 by noon every day of the week.
Racial profiling laws do not protect you from legal sweeps looking for illegals. You may think they do, but keep on thinking that way if you want.

@HeisenbergSleptHere um, im white, if anything, racial profiling laws make it MORE likely for me to get checked for papers just because theyd have to do it to be fair or whatever. i dont have a green card though, becuase im a US citizen. i also dont carry around a fucking passport or a birth certificate. most citizens dont do that. so that brings us back again to my last statement

@AgentCarter I understand your point. I just don't see it as a big problem. When conducting sweeps we can use the media if necessary to tell everyone to take their ID with them for awhile, or they may be inconvenienced while we check out their identities. We have the same problem with people coming across the border every day. We deal with it adequately.

@AgentCarter I guess you mean resistant. Look, this is pretty much what we are already doing along the border with Mexico already. I don't know what your problem with it is, and I really don't care. If you have better ideas for how it should be done, then post them or give them to the authorities. If you don't want illegals deported just say so.

basically, youre not going to deport all of them, give up on that. set up a law of conditional amnesty, in which you make all of them taxpayers. then, have a condition where if they commit a felony they get deported (much easier to deport people who are on the books, after the amnesty)
then, set up a new immigration policy with mexico and make it actually possible for workers to get in legally, that way you know that...
