@zap4life1214 No RCA's. There are Hi/Low Level Adaptors available. They wire into the existing speaker output wires at the back of the stereo and supply RCA's.
There are several ways to install aux-input cables. In many cases it takes removing the stereo to install these devices. There is a lot of internet competition for the sale of these devices.
My son bought me a deck unit about 1 1/2 years ago for Christmas, and I hadn't installed because I didn't have a clue as to how to remove the old one. Thank you so much for the useful information!
very good info , I need to know however if there is a loom adaptor for all the later after market double din players , rather than fiddle with a lot of wiring...
Bob, thanks for the time you took to put this great video together. You saved me broken parts and aggravation. My CD stopped working and I found an inexpensive OEM replacement online. Didn't want to shell out more money to the dealership to do the R&R. Thanks Agan!!
Did this about 2 years ago. Thought I'd brush up on it being that I've got to install another stereo. Now that I see this video, it is even easier than I remember. Thanks Dodge and Bob.
this video is the shiz! i had the panel off in 10 minutes and my new double din installed in 15 and everything mounted back in in 5, so overall took me about 30 minutes, plus another 5 for the mandatory smoke break lol thanks boblizcou
Thank you I have 2002 ram and I just got a new radio for it i'm going to change ( when the weather gets better) .And it comes out a lot different then I thought. thanks again.
hey man ive seen you do a couple car stereo removals but i need help with my car, i see in the back of the video you have a jeep logo, and i have a 2004 jeep grand cherokee special edition and i need to get to the back of the radio to install an amp for subs. so i have two questions, can you post a video on how to remove that and does the back of the radio even have RCA inputs for the amp? if not how would i put a new radio in that does

And for a Toyota Camry, snap a few panels off and you're done! Kudos for Dodge for making it a little difficult for safety sake.

Hey i have an 03 1500 and trying to get new speakers. can you tell me if they are 1 way or 2way speakers thanks
Rep614 3 years ago
Ford can have both. I have seen two way in front and one way in back. Ford normally has 5 x 7 speakers.
