Webroot targets on customers who want to protect their intranets. Security is achieved by planting a proxy between the customer and the internet.
I have several concerns. First, how efficient is this solution? If all traffic goes through a proxy and all proxies are centralized in WebRoot. Would the customers experience latency? Second, if everything has been moved into cloud, do the customers need such Security as a Service anymore? e.g. email can be a service provided by some else.
Thanks UTubeElad.... when you refer to the detail, what specifically did you like about the video? The content itself. The close-ups, pans, and zooms? We're just interested in knowing because this is a new format for us and we think it really helps to give the viewer a great sense of what the software does. But we can never be sure until we hear from users like you.
Security as a service, I have seen this before with Postini I think, but they have went down since Google took them up. I was at the RSA and went to the booth. This is great stuff! Sending link to my company head.
Thanks CheerFamily..... when you say this is "great stuff".... could you elaborate on what you liked most about what you saw? See my response to UTubeElad below for more context. Thanks!
I really liked the detail the person speaking went into and truly loved the video and the way it was done. You used video screens showing the service and overall did an outstanding job with the edit as well.
I have know about saas from Postini and its great to see a new product that seems to do even more in terms of overall features. I have since looked even more into Webroots service and I am going to reccomend that we do a trial for my company.

We use Websense internally why would we put this out to webroot? Is it cheaper or something?
