no they were referring to 'jackson' as the character on the sitcom USA High. He (Josh Holland) played the acoustic guitar on that show and covered this song. It irritated me at first but I think Jay aka Jake does this song justice ;)

Wow! I loved California Dreams when I was younger. The songs seem a little cheesy now but I'd still go back and watch the whole series if I could FIND IT ANYWHERE!
