this is what the rifles are meant to be about, the new album is very much like they've just let in to the mainstream indie scene i.e. "sometimes" on the album, they sound like the courteeners in places (romeo and julie, and winter calls especially), they just havent been able to recreate the sound of their first album, this song, science in violence, and the general are the only songs which i feel shows what the rifles were and are about, a very underated band, better than the fuckin courtneers

The courteeners received the credit because they went looking for it, and because their album is quality. I do agree that liam fray is not morrissey - but big stephen's been around for years, so give him time :p - k/o. The rifles are great and the courteeners are great - the rifles should get some recognition this year but honestly liam fray and the guys deserve what they get - quality album and class live, you cant ask for much more than that.
