first of all, there hasnt been a nuclear plant built since the 1970's. nuclear energy is much cleaner than coal and will greatly benefit the environment. many countries in europe rely on nuclear plants and nothing has gone wrong since chernobyl. if you knew anything about how nuclear plants are built, you would know that its virtually impossible for another meltdown to happen if the plant is designed correctly

ER will accept anyone with or without insurance and the Government has mishandled Medicare, Social Security and everything else they touch. Plus, nationalized healthcare is horrible. If you guys watched the debate on CNN it showed statistics on the bottom of the screen showing when ever a senate started to talk showed the favor of the rep. dem. and ind. people twards either candidate. On several ocasions it showed that ALL parties where in favor of what Obama was saying.

Chernobyl was a disaster because they were performing an experiment and turned off the automatic shut-down system that would have stopped the reaction before a melt-down occurred.
