Actually the truth remains that Heer Ranjha, Saithy Murad Baloch, Mirza Sahiban, Sussy Punno are true love stories which took place in what is Pakistan. Even the writers of all these storeis and Saif-al Maluk and Badi-ul Jamal Purri were all written by people from Pakistan. That is the truth.

This story was witten by a Muslim, Waris Shah in the 1700's and this was a Pakistani movie that India later copied. The original movie is in Punjabi not Hindi and its posted here in youtube.

The story of Heer Ranjha got nothing to do with Hindus.
