richie havens opened woodstock. other musicians were going to be late so he played for 3 hours!

I really wish i had made it to woodstock. but, i was only 8 at the time, and when people saw me on the side of the road tryin to hitch a ride there with my white-boy afro, love beads, tie-dye shirt and toy guitar slung over my back those mofo's just kept on driving (ok,ok! so i actually didn't have an afro until i was 16. but, work with me, alright).
