  • I wanna touch his hair sooooo fucking bad

  • Simply amazing!!

  • for me it seems like is pushing any random keys and luckily it sounds like music :D

  • If you look closely Lebron traveled

  • @joism216 hahahaha

  • I went to a concert of him yesterday, he was amazing! He played Barber's 2nd Sonata, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata & 14th Sonata, Chopin's Nocturne 32 no 2 in Ab & Chopin's 3rd sonata and three encores (including a Prokofiev-piece)! I also got his autograph haha, the best night of my life pretty much haha =D

  • IMPOSSIBRU!

  • somewhere within 3:55- 4:13. an "S" shaped hair can be seen floating off of head

thumbs up if you see it

  • 3:16, like wtf, my mind's even too slow to watch him play >.>

  • beautiful piece of music

  • I can't imagine a more difficult piece than that. The Moonlight Sonata coudn't hold a candle to this.

  • @quarky2001

    Rachmaninoff

  • @quarky2001

If you like Beethoven, check the 3rd movement of the Tempest Sonata, it's nice.

  • does a more difficult piece exist?! this seems near to impossible itself, this man has incredible talent.

  • @lemongamer99

Difficult is subjective to different piano players but this is definitely in the top 5 hardest classical pieces. Its one of the most recognizable concert pieces out there, as in, if you could play without mistakes, all piano players would have some respect for you

  • @lemongamer99 I would say that Mefisto is equal in difficulty :)

  • @lemongamer99 In classical performance art, fatique is just an important factor as technical ability. The ability to maintain concentration and artistic dedication is vital to the concert stage. Some might say the Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 3 is the most difficult pianist piece ever. However, Kissin managed to complete it with absolute excellence. Matter being, Kissin has proved his virtuosity on every level

  • This man would be a godlike Mario Party player.

  • Difficulty Level:Afro

  • @1337Einstein Men with Jewfros are truly a superior race.

  • I find this man extremely attractive.

  • wow that is mastery

  • His back is absolutely drenched in sweat.

  • he's amaizing ,,,, :)

  • Where did this concert take place?

  • @iniohos2 Royal Albert Hall

  • @1Thompsonmusic sarcasm? if not, you are an idiot. sorry.

  • @1Thompsonmusic The worst you've ever heard? For some reason I believe you're lying

  • @hpc1717 sarcasm.

  • Fantastic. Heard him in New Years Eve with Berlin Philharmonic. Soooo great

  • I like his La Campannella.

I think he is one of the great pianist.

  • I wish i can play like him

  • I think that Yundi Lee is a great performer, but the definition that Kissin puts into his notes is incredible. You can hear every single note distinctly.

  • Just because you have an Afro fetish doesn't mean anything. Nothing can compare to Yundi Li's control of the flow of the music. Kissins expression has nothing on Yundis.

  • Kissin is definitely the best performer of La Campanella however he must improve the way to express his fellings onto music.

  • @lucas74infinity you are kidding, right?

  • Evgeny Kissin once fingered a girl...she died.

  • i had mad skills like this, but then i took an arrow to the knee...

  • virtuoso!!

  • I prefer this much more than Yundi Li. Liszt love his appearance and the impression he made. Look at Kissin, I feel like he is much more into it.

  • yundi li is WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY better

  • @jolina612 In your dreams

  • That 1 dislike was Kissin's hair.

  • the drips of sweat and the hair that fall off the mad intempreteur are like porn for me. I close my eyes and I imagine the same for me.

  • Finally it is back!

  • I watch this video to hear him announce the song.

  • Seems he is possessed by devil. As normal people cannot play like that!!!

  • rubato is different than most with this particular rendition no?

  • the beginning was really epic..but i think he made a few mistakes near the end...

  • Kissin undoubtedly has great ability. But just because he can play fast doesn't mean he is a great pianist. I kept looking for the metronome by the piano set at blizzard! His lack of sustaining pedal in areas and overuse of staccato, especially in the first half of the piece made me think of an old player piano. His performance is autonomic with the bobbing head keeping time with the furious pace.

For a contrasting performance with true emotional feeling, see Daniil Trifonov

  • @Howard4231 Where is your recording of this piece maestro(?)?

  • @Howard4231 That's what i'm talking about!!!!!!! "His lack of sustaining pedal in areas and overuse of staccato"!!!

    V

alentina lisitsa handled better on this piece

  • damn it's a fucking monster .... love this track...

  • absolutely BLOWS AWAY everyone else. such clarity

  • he should got crazyyyyy!!!!!!!!he's sooooo fast!!!OMG!

  • He's got hands at the speed of light 0.0

  • Every time. EVERY time I watch this... OMG.

  • 1 person is Kissin himself and he probably didn't like his own playing on this particular day...

  • Is he chewing gum? or is that some kind of technique?

  • @Mintcubes maan i dont know, but if it is a technique, i'ma try it lol

  • The original video had almost 2 million views, then it was taken down by Youtube. Seriously, WHY!

  • perfection <3

  • For someone who's never known.

4 years ago, this video was the most viewed "La Campanella" on Youtube. (more than Yundi's version, at that time) When you search "la campanella" this was in the top of the first page.

When this video reached about 1,000,000 views (while Yundi Li reached about 7-800,000) The video has been deleted.

It take years to appear in the front page again.

That is the reason why this video has only 100,000 views.

  • The world's best living pianist!

  • I'd like to see Derek Paravicini attempt this piece!

  • Pretty good repetition on that piano!

  • That's the Royal Albert Hall in London :3

  • the one person who disliked was liszt himself, because he is jealous of him.

  • @dmklnko you serious?

  • @tekkenn9 absolutly

  • At the end I think he was trying to murder the piano. "I'm done with you, bitch"

  • Bloody hell.

  • 4:02

a hair was like "fuck, this is too epic!!" and proceeded to jump

  • @alsharpton666 HAHAHHAA i saw this comment, then looked at it and busted out laughin lol

  • @alsharpton666 yes...he'll grow bald soon if he keeps this up

  • @alsharpton666 best youtube comment EVER!!! Took me a couple views but when it clicked I laughed my ass off! :D

  • @alsharpton666 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • the king of piano is here.

  • Yundi's version great 2, this 1's also fantastic

  • He's the Schumacher of piano playing

  • is that his strand of hair falling at 4:01!?

  • Lo miro una y otra vez y no puedo creerlo!!!!Me fascinas. Te adoro .

  • what a TANK....so intense a hair fall off at 4:02 ... thanks for the great quality....

  • You know what the worst part is?

This piece is so much harder than it sounds. =|

I played it for my grandparents, they weren't even impressed.. =|

  • @RoellW94: That's probably because they do not play the piano, I'm guessing? Do either of them play a musical instrument?

  • I would give up chocolate and ice cream forever to have his mad skills!

  • @pliglee It's not chocolate and ice cream you have to give up, it's time, lots of it.

  • @Dan474834 Don't I know it... I've been doing the piano thing for 18 years so far!

  • @pliglee Then I'm sure you have no problem playing this :P

  • @pliglee and then use his mad skills to get more chocolate and ice cream anyway.

  • He's the most talented still living pianist, right?

  • A : Who is Kissin?

B : If you dont know who he is then you shouldn't know much about yourself too I guess

  • bravo®

  • look at the size o that boys heid

  • EPIC performance. Love the sweats at the end!

  • Fantastic. It has only 845 views because people are not aware of this video. But once they hear it, they will keep listening to it over and over again. Fantastic is the word to describe Evgeny Kissin's playing.

  • how does this only have 845 views??

  • @OutdatedChanel It is uploadrd by others too but I had it in very good quality so I uploaded.

  • @OutdatedChanel Because copyright nazis keep taking it down. The last one I had in my favorites hit ~600,000 views. Thank you for posting this knightLynderic. NO ONE plays this like Kissin!

  • @OutdatedChanel Because Katy Perry isn't singng on it, lol

  • so epic

  • grazie per il video .Kissin è il migliore
