I am very patriotic and feel that all through the early years of the war we had the very essence of the freedoms we take for granted today in our hands and we fought the fight against tyranny and the darkness that would have befallen the world. Today in the midst of turmoil and depression we should look back and gather the strength to face off, what is nothing more than a lack of confidence in ourselves and try to remember that through great adversity we are more capable of rising once more.

Churchill was a world hero, who guided Britain and the commonwealth in a war alone and then endured a fight alongside the 2 most duplicitous allies in history.

One "ally" was a turncoat and the other a cowardly "ally" who sat back watching us die for the best part of 3 years and who was eventually FORCED to fight half way through ww2 and only once they were eventully attacked.

The US was aiding the allies before we got into the war with the land lease act. America wasnt cowardly, we just didnt get into wars every 20 years like you europeans did. Back then america wasn't the worlds policeman and didn't get involved in the rest of the worlds business.
