  • Da Vinchi code was better.

  • The Vatican Guard has been ridiculed for centuries due to their uniform. XD

Even the native Americans brought from America laughed at them.

  • Completely different from the book, caused me to dislike the movie

  • just before midnight.. wow thats pretty sad

  • @johnnyrockerfella not really you should read the book.

  • it was a pretty good movie- not amazing but fun

  • This Movie had so many plot differences, compared to the novel.!

  • The new pope doesn't LOOK like emperor palpatine, he IS emperor palpatine.

  • See reviews right when they come out! Sign up and make your OWN spill movie page at ------> spill.com

  • I can't wait till they make The Lost Symbol

  • this is sick when you've played Assassins creed :P

  • @ravenshield56 Dude, read the novel, it tells the actual history.

  • Awesome book.

    Bad movie.

  • @kodatastical i though the movie was ok

  • would have been better without the antimatter bullshit

  • see im greek mythology and im so glad that cathilocks or how ever u want to call him im so clad that they all were dieing go in other woords go gods

  • Not every girl is hott u guys, damn. Come on.

  • There's one major thing with this movie. If you do reshearch on the real illuminati, columbia is worshipped by them. Wouldn't you know if that is the first thing that pops up right in front of the movie is Columbia pictures. The illuminati made this movie as a diversion from how it really is.

  • @Dukeburton30 Columbia works for sony (Japan), which means they're going to develope and antimatter bomb and drop it in the States as revenge for WWII, see how easy it is to make stupid shit up kid?

  • @Dukeburton30 you obviously cant research because you cant even spell research. stop making shit up idiot

  • The events on A&D happen before the Da Vinci Code

  • ok seriously one thing i dont get. they hav this stuff anti matter that they know VERY little about other then th fact that it explodes and was around when the BIGGEST explosion in UNIVERSAL history. now WHY THE FUCK WOULD U WANT TO RECREATE THAT HERE ON EARTH!!!!!!

  • funny I loved the Davinci Code more because Tom Hanks was kinda goin through and giving both sides to relgion and science rather than running around on a wild goose chase

  • If they could make enough antimatter to destroy the Vatican then why not just buy half of the world and call it a day?

  • antimatter is real...science fiction my ass.

great review though. love you guys

  • This movie was alright to me, it's not like "super awsome" I had never seen the first movie, I heard this movie was better than the first movie so I'm not going to bother with it cause the second wasn't all that great to me

  • You might as well get Ronald Mcdonald to guard the vatican

  • That is why god invented bleach my son

  • ILUMINATI!!!aaAAAaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAaaAAaaAaaaAAAaaaaa!!!(angelic style A)

  • I haven't seen the movie, but I thought the book was very good, better than the Da Vinci Code in my opinion.

  • Angels and Demons was a great movie that I loved. My sister said that the book was different from the movie making me not want to read the book. I have not seen the Da Vinci Code yet but I am hoping to see it soon.

  • I didn't like the first one much.. but i might check this one out since they say it's better.

  • This movie is anti matter, cause it doesnt matter

  • The movie was pretty good.

I thought it would take a few days to figure it out but it took a few hours.

  • The statue is missing a penis because lol

  • Oh my God Pope Benedict does look like the emperor!

  • "That's why God invented bleach" LOL

  • I thought that if anti- matter colides with matter it creates energy. Is that right?

  • @Nightsyder1 yes and thats what happens, its just very violent, kind of like nuclear reactions..

  • @mnaybour808 Oh ok thanks mate

  • the book was awesome..

  • This movie moves a little too fast for me. I like the book though!

  • the whole plot of this story wouldnt of happened if they used engerizer for the battery..

  • just wondering what matinee mean?

  • @Lyriicistique Worth seeing on opening night, pretty much.

  • @Lyriicistique I dunno. I'm gonna google it after.

  • Ok, I read the book and it was really good. A lot of history and interesting facts. Especially with the anti matter. That was really cool. I went to see the movie, and hated it! They never went into how the Pope wanted to move forward, which came the scene between the people for science and the people for religion. They never really went into any of the history. And they never put in the link between the Pope and the Charlamaign. The anti matter had a cool effect, but other than that, it was bad

  • how was anti matter fiction?!

  • @webaward It's not that anti matter is fiction, it's the whole thing about how people saying that the Large Hydron Collider causing a big disaster when it really isn't that dangerous.

  • @EntertainmentIsGood it may not be as dangerous as the movie suggests but it still kind of is because of it there are many tremors in the world.notice how when they recently turned it back on there were a lot of earth quakes all of a sudden

  • @franksshoe Hmm, think I'll do some research on that before I say your imagining things or that you may be on to something, I have sources that can give me cold hard facts online.

  • @EntertainmentIsGood alright you do that

  • and why would i want a conversation with you... are you lonely?

  • lols u need to get that stick out of ur ass.

  • please dont kill me mister terminater i ill suck ur di** lol!

    oops wrong review

  • @ChristianScholarship Maybe you should consider it as fiction instead then.

  • I don't want to see this. I liked the book, though. Btw, Tom Hanks IS NOT Robert Langdon (sp?). I have no idea why he was cast as that character.

  • I know! Langdon is thin, fit, and aged well. Hanks is none of that. And this movie is just Hanks running around. That's about it.

  • Glad you helped the movie industry, but good luck getting help from them.

  • Can people please stop advertising their favorite illegal video website or whatever it's really annoying

  • I didn't understand this movie very well, b/c the whole time I thought I would have had to see Da Vinci Code first in order to understand it, but it kept my interest how fast the bodies were turning up branded with the four elements.

  • i cant stop laughing, tom hanks finds out a clue and gets away and everyone else gets shot.

  • he didnt commit suicide...oh wait that pope candidate. yea he suicide

  • "forget that bomb im trying to defuse these panities off this chick!" LOL funny as hell

  • i laughed so hard i cried on the comparison between the pope and the darkside emperor, the "fast food military" gaurding a hamburger, and making time......i'm sold...i subscribed

  • yeah i fell asleep

  • This is more of a action drama then the mystery drama of the first film, and the story is a bit less serious, but still, it is not a bad ride.

  • anti matter isn't science fiction its real

  • Anti Matter only exist in theroy

  • Wait... was that whole 'anti-matter' thing made of æther? Æther is, after all, known as the 'fifth element' back when Fire, Earth, Air and Water were the four basic ones, originally. Of course we've since became smart enough to think of Life and Necromancy as elements too, I guess...

    So is it æther...?

    ~|K|~

  • those elements can't exist without the 4

  • I so the film, but first I read the book...hey didnt they miss the konig the king...max kohler.. -how ever you spell it---the director of the cern?

I really like that character in the book. U.U

  • I want Tom Hanks to star in other films...not just connected to this series...Maybe Cast Away 2?......Hell no,maybe some other shyt lol

  • It was better than the Da Vinci Code film, but the book was much better.

  • Ohhh don't get me started on it.

Dan brown's writing makes Stephen King's look like fucking shakespeare! I'm seriously thinking of taking Dan Brown to court for stealing two hours of my life!

It's better than The Da Vinci code but only in the same way that it's better to wipe your ass with sand paper than barbed wire.

  • Although I disagree with you.........that anology made me LULZ.

  • Damn.....AMEN BRO!!!!

  • yeah your right he does look like eperor palpitine uh did i spell that right

  • Loved the book movie sucked

  • i thought the movie was pretty good. good action and has a interesting end

  • Awful film.

  • book was much better

  • Books are always better. I thought "The Da Vinci Code" was a great book, but the movie was so dry and boring.

  • We make it very small amounts. In fact we use it for medical purposes. The opposite of an electron in normal matter is a positron(an electron with a positive charge). We use these positrons in PET scans. PET stands for Positron Emission Tomography.

  • this movie is a full price.

but not the best of the summer.

  • I stepped in some antimatter once. Had to buy new shoes.

  • @Bugsyboy333 Thats a lie. We dont have the advanced technologi to make antimatter yet, with the technologi we have now it would take thousands of years to make 1g of antimatter. Antimatter do infact excist, but its in space. And there isnt any antimatter made on earth. So it must've been acid or something you stepped in.

  • @IchBinFedda Uhh, thanks for (mmph) clearing that up, Fedda. (chuckle) Yeah, uhh, it must have been aci...

    BWAAA-HA-HA-HA!

Sorry, couldn't keep a straight face. Study up on joke-telling, why dontcha.

  • There is not enough anti matter to make a bomb. It could give you cancer if you stood too close.

  • I think the law is somewhere close to:

If antimatter = matter, total cancellation occurs

A meteor sized peice of antimatter could give us trouble.

  • I give it a Full Price. The movie wasn't slow, Tom Hanks is a fantastic actor, I think catholic "ways" are very interesting and I like the mix of religion and mild sci-fi.

I really liked this movie ^^

  • I dont get anti-matter how can it exist if.. whatever

  • If something exists, it's opposite must, also, exist.

  • Wouldnt antimatter be the absence of matter though? like space itself would be antimatter?

  • What's the opposite of a ham and cheese sandwich?

  • a cheese and ham sandwich

  • you have to read up on Anti-matter, but u are right anti-matter can't exist in existance of matter......which is our existance. Anti-Matter only exist in theroy.

so in aother words Anti-matter has to exist but it doesn't, or at lest not in our existance. (ex. Dark can't exist without light; action / reaction; matter / anti-matter)

  • *Heads Explodes* I get what what you mean but Ugh, I'll just continue to steer clear of physics

  • antimatter does exist. however in tiniest quantities and for a tiny amount of time. a good example is the creation of positrons (e+) for less than a millisecond in lightning storms. then when positrons (e+) and electrons (e-) meet, they annihilate and produce gamma radiation.

  • I think the anti-matter thing completely sealed the deal on me not seeing this.

No way you going to carry anti-matter around like "whatevs".

  • radargab it's a movie, they just took theroy and applied it. nothing wrong with it.

  • if i am to listen to a reviewer. its spill, they rock

  • It was boring

  • isn't atheism the absence of religion in which one doesn't believe in any sort of deity?

Agnosticism is the absence of religion in which they accept the fact that we'll never know and sort of accept all deities.

  • Why did they set this after The Da Vinci Code? I read the books out of order and it didn't bother me. It's not like setting a film before an existing film is unheard of.

  • being that im Catholic i found this movie interesting

  • the one thing i didn't like about this movie (i mean, REALLY didn't like) is the fact that i knew who the bad guy was like 1/2 hour into it, so it kind of kills the thrill

  • i dont know about you guys but i was like yay! the guy saved us by flying the helicopter and blah blah. but then hes the bad guy in the end :(

  • how bout this

Atheism > Scientology and all that other bullshit

  • Except Atheism is no different from all other religions, its to a small degree an even more extreme view than certain religions. Though i would personally not qualify scientology as a religion as such.

Though, you also have to differ between Atheists and Agnostics

  • scientology.

    ....what a joke

  • How so? Just curious btw ^^

  • @Wh1teL1ghtinn religion what a scam. hiding the truth executing everyone who speaks the truth. whole fucking wars where about religion. billions of people died because of""god

  • @obiwan544 uhm whhat?

i said something about scientology nothing more and it was at least a year ago.

go back to starwars and study the force. .lollolllollololo

  • from 3:35 to 3:45 is the best part of the video...very funny

  • "thats why god invented bleach son"

    lmao

  • lol. the ending was great. "I'm trying to defuse these panties off this chick right now." I did not like either movies, the first one and second - both to go on and on. And I've seen and enjoyed 4 hour movies that have no action and go nowhere. The little boys club that is the Vatican is really sad too because it obviously either holding some secrets or just making stuff up.

  • No, it was an insult to the book itself.

  • antimatter would work like that, antimatter is simply the opposite of matter, when it is bought into contact with matter it anhilates and both particles are turned 100% into energy.

but, to make that much antimatter at the current rate it is being produced for experiments, it would take millions, if not billions of years.

also, while some sort of electromagnetic thingymabob may keep the antimatter still without annhilating with the vial, im pretty sure any knocks would make it hit the sides

  • Oliver stone would have been the perfect person to direct this film, and Da Vinci Code, which Ron Howard made a bit if a dogs dinner of.

  • That actress was extremely hot and plain at the same time, which made her even hotter. I would have liked the movie just for thatr but overall i enjoyed this one better than the da vinci code. Maybe because i hadn't read the book.

The swiss gaurd were a bunch of idiots, were they out having lunch the whole time because the city was under crisis and robert was running around by himself.

  • This movie suck. It's so boring that i almost fell asleep in the cinema. I read the book, and the book is ten times more exciting than this. You know what will make it cooler? Instead of Tom Hanks running around, talking 'bout the history of the church. They can act out the scenes that he is talking about. 'Cause, it's more visual. I mean I wanna see a movie, SEE a movie, not hear people talking.

  • anti matter is soooooOOoooo far from the pOwah of god and the church is angry WTF I hate the ways church acts on opinions

  • I believe in a flying spaghetti monster. I can't sense him in any way but I see his noodly appendage at work throughout the world and therefore he is real.

  • Well thats what you get when you try to mix science with religion...

  • that someone below didn´t know the name of the actreess

  • Ayelet starred in Steven´s Spielberg Munich with Eric Bana!

    Shalom!

  • this movie was effin stupid. it had some great parts to it but otherwise it was laughable

  • Destroying the Vatican with anti-matter sounds pretty badass.

  • ROFL, video game...

  • for me was better than sex

  • Totally!

  • good movie good book if you have a open mind

  • i love these reviews. you guys are hilarious xD

  • I don't know anything about anti=matter, and that explanation scene made me blush with embarrassment. Worst. Movie logic. Ever.

  • I love this movie ...so much betta than the 1st...fast paced..and was very well paced...I liked it. nice ending.

  • oh man, i just hate the helicopter part. i did not like it. i was really turned off. i hope that tom hanks went with ewan mcgregor in the helicopter and he is shouting! :D

  • this movie is just another stupid science fiction that wants to probe that god is not real

but the facts are all around us that probe that god does exist it would take an idiot not to see that this movie is crap.

  • the movie was great, and if you read the book, you would know that it isn't science fiction. It's realistic fiction because in the author's notes, it says that CERN really has discovered anti-matter.

  • oh yeah, facts.

The most proof any religion has is a fucking book.

  • No, that's just christianity! ^_^

  • no, I'm speaking about religion in general.

The best proof any religion has is a book.

  • The only major thing that bothered me about this movie, was that they had to slice a HUGE chunk of the scandal out originally from the book. In the book, with it's countless twists and turns you're constantly switching sides between the Vatican and CERN, almost to the point where you had to sit back and laugh at yourself.

Of course I realize they don't have time to fit it all in, but it's something to think about when you're considering Dan Brown's credibility and talent.

  • 1: Anti matter is real

2: Anti matter in the transit / quantities of the movie is not real.

3: Who cares, the whole premise is not real. I don't believe in the illuminati either.

4: It's called fiction. Star trek isn't real either.

5: As an atheist, God isn't real either.

  • Right again. For me though, it's the difference between good fiction - Star Trek is a nice example, it's fun and obviously made up - and bad fiction - anything by Dan Brown, that alludes to being 'real' or on the conceit that this stuff is/could be happening, whilst also being badly written.

  • If you read the author's notes in the book, it says that all references to places, people, artwork, and architecture are completely factual. It also says that the Illuminati were real.

  • i thought the movie was pretty good. it might not follow every detail of the book, but it followed the main idea which is still good.

  • I saw this movie today and it suck so much, I was so bored and I was just wishing it would end, big dissappontment, harrible movie and I want my mony back, worst movie ever., don't see it.

  • Antimatter is very real, and does not fall under "Fiction" in anyway, even "Science Fiction".

  • It's as unrealistic as a giant laser cannon.

  • Imo it's a good movie, but ofc there's a lot missing, 'cus let's face it. The books are AMAZING. And I'd say that The Da Vinci code (the movie) is far better, cus I find the things they talk about very interesting, compared to this one.

  • Dudes, the LHC might be real, but if you think that all that anti-matter stuff isn't pure (and quite terrible) science fiction then you should seriously do some reading.

  • Anti matter is real, and it annihilates 100% with matter. (100% matter to energy). The only "fake" thing is the storage / transit component.

    Take your own "reading" advice.

  • It certainly is real, but the science in Angels & Demons is pure fiction. In order to create a few grams of antimatter it would take a few billion years. And you certainly wouldn't be able to carry it 'round in a test tube!

  • actually you can carry it in a test tube, but it would have to be electrically magenetic electric field that keeps the antimatter in the vacummed vial thingy majigy thingy. not sure about specifics, but the science teachers at school says its possible to carry antimatter in a vial...

  • also, it would take a few billion years to create it naturally. antihydrogen particles were actually created in CERN labs. which means im saying it IS possible to create antimatter, ITS BEEN CREATED WITH THE LHC!!

  • From the CERN website: "In 2002 two experiments managed to produce tens of thousands of antihydrogen atoms, later even millions. However, although "tens of thousands" may sound a lot, it's really a very, very small amount. You would need 10,000,000,000,000,000 times that amount to have enough anti-hydrogen gas to fill a toy balloon! If we could somehow store our daily production, it would take us several billion years to fill the balloon. ...So the Angels and Demons scenario is pure fiction."

  • oops, forgot that its tens of thousands of ATOMS. lol. oops... lol

  • Yes, I know that. There's a quote from someone at CERN that goes something like "If we took all the anti-matter we've ever made and used it all at once, we might be able to power a small lightbulb"

The point was kitsua (or it read as) saying anti-matter isn't real, which is simply wrong.

  • I realise that that's how it looks now, so you are right of course. I was trying to say that the science in this film is pure fiction but the Spill guys seem to suggest that it's based on facts just because the LHC actually exists. It's only because I love and am so fascinated by the work that's going on at CERN that I'm irritated by crappy books and films like this that mess up the public perception of what's really going on.

  • lol for the people who dont like it are just people who dont understand

    so bassically

    if your stupid

    then dont watch

  • What if you can't spell?

  • does it feel like the phantom menace because most of it is waste of f**king time.

  • wait dident the Nazi's help keep the illuminati going, i remember hearing something about them together

  • HAha 1:51
