  • I know Marc Emery is a proud, loyal Canadian. I know him personally because I ran for the BCMP. I no longer share Marc's love of Canada. I think his extradition coupled with the failure of Canada to decriminalize as promised demonstrates that the U.S. now controls Canada. The U.S told Canadians what we can and can't do.

The failure to decriminalize cannabis as promised by Chretien shows that the U.S. controls Canada to the point that the U.S. can incarcerate the leader of a Cdn. political party.

  • this reporter is a bitch.

  • wat crime did he commit?

  • one question for robnicholes we are turnign into the states she shoulda grilled that mother fuicker right there even if he didnt awsner that lets the people know he is scared and your only scared if your doing somthing wrong

  • This CBC journalist is thick isn't she? SOVEREIGNTY. Get it? She kept saying that he should get punished because he committed a crime. But she kept failing to see the issue that Canada's laws should apply to his punishment, not U.S. laws.

She just doesn't get that. And she doesn't understand the sovereignty issue. It's hard to imagine that that lady is old enough to have kids who she is in charge of teaching life lessons to.

  • Rob Nicholson is an ideological freak. I am ashamed to have him as our Minister of Justice developing a "war on drugs" policy which is based on no evidence whatsoever.

  • 89 % of canadians that watch CBC voted NO on extraditing Emery and Mr. Assholson still extradited Marc! What a fucking juice bag! He must be juicing it up! Justice Minister Rob Nicholson is a fucking retarded son of a cunt who deserves to be brought to justice!

  • Why does she keep saying self proclaimed prince of pot

  • Canadian Justice Minister Rob Nicholson hates America, and sees Marc Emery as the fabled Johnny Appleseed. This is the kind of guy who would sic the Fed on Abraham Lincoln.

  • Ujjal!!! Ujjal!!!! my idol

  • De-criminalizing small amounts, while keeping trafficking small amounts illegal, is STUPID. How are you supposed to obtain a small amount to use?? You need to commit a crime. STUPID. Legalization, taxation, and government control is the only answer.

  • bitch needs to learn how to draw on her eyebrows

  • lol. its crooked

  • screw de-criminalizing---LEGALIZE!!

  • Just look at how many ppl have a criminal record for just a bag of weed!!they can go over the border,a criminal check may prevent them from getting a job.

    Potheads do not kill!

Take it out of the hands of OC and that alone will save 40-100 million bucks.

Then the police can concentrate ,CRACK/METH and other hard drugs that are killing ppl.

If you no of some one that has died from smoking the herb, please, post!!

  • 40-100 million ? more like a billion but i truely support what you are saying. FREE MARC EMERY !

  • @666elsie

Alcohol and tobacco are the ones that are killing people. Most overdose/deaths from those drugs are due completely to prohibition. You've got unscrupulous gangsters who cut the drugs with really bad things, or sell an impure product for so long that once the user has gotten used to a dose, and they get an unexpectedly pure one, boom overdose. All of your information comes from the establishment, which has a vested interest in keeping drugs illegal, or substance abuse counselors.

  • @666elsie

Substance abuse counselors have an extremely skewed perspective. They base what they think about those drugs on the people who have screwed up their lives with their drugs. Based on data from our government and the U.S.', for every one hardcore addict there are at least a dozen people in a silent majority who aren't addicts. That's not even going into the statistics like 9 out of 10 people registered at substance abuse centers grew up without a father.

  • @666elsie

Drugs aren't bad, some use is bad. Does that mean we should be handing scumbag criminals money hand over fist by creating a black market because of some puritanical ideals of a drug free world that's about as likely as levitating swine? Harm reduction is the only tenable option if reason and common sense enter the drug equation. Unfortunately, our rulers are making too much money from the status quo, and would rather spread the lie of helping people whilst screwing them.

  • @666elsie

Just look up the pretenses and reasons why drugs were made illegal in the first place. IF the desertion of science and bald faced racial discrimination that fueled prohibition's creation does not continue today, I am a monkey's uncle.

  • Decrim is bullshit. Keep the gangsters in business and you haven't done shit.

  • Decriminalization would have more people growing their own knowing they wouldn't receive jail time for it.

  • @MrClawson9

What decriminalization plan have you ever heard of that goes beyond removing penalties for simple possession? Also, the whole idea that everyone would be growing their own in a legal market is ridiculous. Who grows their own tobacco? How many people homebrew. I know I do, but don't underestimate the power of human laziness.
