@411DESHAWN you may scratch the finish (fine scratches - I think it's called spiderwebbing). Anyway, just be careful with it - did you check your phone package - an optical cloth comes with every touchscreen phone :D
i have a different question wat if someone took off your screen protector and its all dirty now from the sticky side i cant clean it and my phone is getting scratched up???
@08raymundo1, that build up can be hard to remove for sure - getting adhesive off can be tricky. My suggestion would be to use a dab of water (like I demonstrated in the vid) on an optical cloth and use your fingernail covered by the cloth to scratch the adhesive off. It will take time, but imho it's the safest way to do it. Make sure you have a clean section of the cloth to do a final buff at the end. Patience, my friend!
hey i use a couple drops of water like just a little bit on the screen of my blackberry torch then whipe the water around the surface of the screen with my towel a cotton white one i use for showering....at the end my phone comes out perfectly clean and shiny ..do u think this is a good method ?
Hey @MadAtTheWorldX3 , you are better off using the optical cloth I talk about in the video. Reason being, the terry towel can scratch the screen (those small tiny scratches) and the towel may have something stuck in it (small granules) that can also scratch the screen. If the method you use works that's fine, the one I demonstrate in the video is the 'safest' one that the manufacturers have recommended. Thanks for commenting and hope that helps! Melissa
Awesome video - thanks so much Melissa - that was really helpful :)
I'll be sure to just use the cloth that came with my iPhone...I figured it was in there for a reason! Also, I guess I'll have to stop using my jeans to clean the screen - I didn't think that I could actually be scratching the screen....
