  • I want this

  • remember this!!!

  • What?! You can't call Max? :(

  • ha! haven't thought of this thing in years and years

  • They made good commercials then. Now it's commercials for suing people and needing lawyers. I miss the good old days of fun commercials.

  • Hear the tone she was using talking to Goofy, and not inviting him over? I wonder what the story is there.

  • wow i saw this video then went and found the actual phone on ebay it just arrived the other day its a great memory for me

  • boy those poor kids were probably waiting for hours wondering why mickey and the gang hadn't come over for their potty how sad

  • Was I the only one that had a party that Micky and the gang didn't come too? :(

  • Aww cute! ^^

the only thing that i don't get it why do mickey and the 5 others guys never reply to what the kids are saying?

  • girl: Mickey, come over for our potty. You call donald duck! boy: no thanks. This commercial is so cute!! XD

  • The girl is so adorable :D

  • Hope fully people can find that kind of stuff on eBay in working condition.

  • As a kid, I was convinced she really was saying "Come over for a potty." It made me laugh every time.

  • mickey, come over for a potty

  • I remember this phone but I don't remember the commercial.

  • nice boston accent - come ovah for a paehtee!

  • It was Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Snow White, Pinocchio, and Minny Mouse. I really liked this as a toy but it gave me the creeps the batteries ran low and the voices got all slow and distorted.

  • even here in my 30's I still want one.

  • Wow, I used to have that phone!!1 What great memories!!!

  • Anyone remember this one: Thanks for da gumball Mickey! HA

  • I was 3 when this came out...after seeing the commercial, my parents remembered that I begged for it constantly, but it happened to be right around the Christmas season, so you can guess what my older sister's gift for me that year was. :-)

  • I had this. I remember I stuck pennies in the crack by the dial because I was pretending it was a pay phone. It never worked after that.

  • I had this phone! woot!

  • OMG, I remembered this commercial today while talking about said phone. I was telling them how much it made me crack up because the girl sounded like she said Potty instead of Party. They roared and probably watched this 10X. MANY thanks to whomever posted this!

  • The original Party Line.

  • There was also a "muppet babies" version of this...

  • damn i use to have that

  • I just uploaded another commercial for the Mickey Mouse Talking Phone. Judging from the look, I think it might have been made a year or two later than this one.

  • i woulda been so happy if i woulda had one of these when i was little lol

  • MICKY COME OVAH FORA PAWWTY!!

  • "With the Mickey Mouse talking phone, batteries are NOT included! :D" ....WOW what a FEATURE! :D

  • @ArcangelZero7 thats what i thought

  • @ArcangelZero7 Mickey, Donald,Goofy, But who were the other 3 you can call.

  • @coyote374 Can't remember, sorry.

  • @ArcangelZero7 i was thinking the same thing, like why would they put that as part of the ad? lmao

  • @ArcangelZero7 haha! good one!

  • OMG... after so many years I finally understood what Donald Duck is saying!! at that age it was just incomprehensible... "this is Donald Duck" it's so obvious now.

  • I had one too.. I remember Mary Poppens being one of the numbers on it... Good memory....

  • OMG!!!! I HAD THIS!!!!

  • Oh, "party." I thought she said "potty."

  • What? Goofy just gets "hi Goofy?" No invite to the party? Donald and Mickey got asked over for a party! Poor Goofy. Mean little girl!

  • Oh wow this thing is real old school, I remember those.

  • all i ever get is some bitch operator with an attitude, is mine broken?

  • She just has a New England accent that makes them drop all the Rs in words. So party comes out as potty. That's why they usual don't use kids with that accent.

  • I noticed that right off. Of Course Living in New England for 30 years might have something to do with it

  • all i ever get is some bitch operator with an attitude, is mine broken?

  • I swear, I thought the little girl said "Come over for a potty".

  • me to but now i heard it alot of times i think it was party

  • I herd that also

  • this is so oldskool!!

    :)

  • come over for a potty.

  • Good one KG !!

  • LOL! I was 5 when this commercial was on and that's exactly what I heard, too! I've since been exposed to "yankees" and know that's how they talk! :)

  • I remember this! Cute!

  • I forgot about this toy, wow I use to have this.

  • This was the popular toy when I was in kindergarten.

  • Can someone please post a video on here of whats inside of this thing? like take it apart and film all the pieces show it apart and working id like to know what this looks like on the inside and see it in operation from the inside thanks

  • Most likely a little clear plastic record like a talking viewmaster. Most everything back then that talked had that kind of setup.

  • id like to see what this thing looks like inside can someone please post a video of the guts of this thing? thanks

  • All I did with mine was hit the activation keys. Zero was Mickey Mouse.

  • I used to have one of these, till the day it broke. The last few days of it were funny the voices sounded like chipmunks when it malfunctioned.

  • I played with this when i was a kid and ive always wondered how it worked

  • My babysitter had this toy when I was a kid, brings back some fuzzy memories, she was not very nice...HUMMMmmmmm

  • I remember this commercial when I was around 3 or 4. Being from the south, I could not understand why the little girl pronounced party, "potty". It was obviously casted in the north east U.S. But I loved the commercial, I thought the toy was cool. About this same time the Mickey Mouse Snow Cone Machine was also advertising, along with some toy train commercial voiced by the original voice of Winnie The Pooh. Ah memories.

  • I am 30 and I wish I still bought one.

  • Who were all the disney people you could call on this phone?

  • Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Snow White, and two others.

  • I used to have that when I was about 2 or 3 years old.

  • i remember this commercial! my brother had this toy!

  • I always wanted one of these phones when I was a kid & I never got one. So, I went on ebay & bought one. Yeah, I am a kid again. Thanks for the memory.

  • Hasbro's perschool division was also known as "Romper Room"; hence the logo shown at the base of this toy phone.

  • Thank you for posting this. I knew that I always wanted a Mickey Mouse Talking Phone when I was a kid but my mother could never afford it.

You wouldn't happen to have the ad for the Disney frozen treats do you?

  • HAHAHA COME OVER FOR A POTTY

  • You mean "party" if you ask me.

  • @kuhristin3 LOL

  • @kuhristin3 CLEARLY lol !!

  • omg i had this phone i would alway try to talk to snow white

  • Me, too.

  • I remember this commercial--- trying to hold back--- tears---un--successful. BWAHHHHH!

The memories just kill me. Thanks for posting all these great ads!

  • I had it too!

  • OMG I had this toy, it was the greatest, but thinking back now i am wondering how i ever carried this thing around it weighed like 20 lbs lol

  • how did this thing work you select a character on the right and type a number and it plays the dialogue, going by the sound from the ad it sounds like a record sytem, id like a look inside this thing

  • The first two digits didn't matter. The last one activated the sound. I learned this as soon as I got mine. Kind spoiled the whole idea.

  • WOW....I remember playing with that thing when I was a kid! A really really cool toy

  • I got that for christmas, it RULED!!! Then I laughed hard years later on the Simpsons when Bart got sent back to Kindergarden and he got first choice of toy and he said, "oooh Flintstone Phone...Flintstone Phone" and Fred said, "Yabba Dabba Doo, I like talking to you" and Bart laughed like a dork. Tangent over.

  • One of my favorite toys when I was younger! My kids have a similar but updated version. I actually remembered some of the dialogue from the old ad! Thanks!

  • lol I can't believe not one but 2 people already commented on "potty". My memories of this are hearing her bowel movement invitation, and her tiny spaced teeth in a grin after she says "Goofy".

  • "Mickey-you come over for a potty. And Donald-you come over and take a dump."

  • And Goofy can come over for a shit.

  • Wow, I love seeing *all* these old commercials, but every so often one in particular will really bring on a wave of nostalgia. I remember this little toy phone so well. I believe it was one of my younger brother's toys.

  • it does doesn't it? LOL I had one of these when iw as a kid.

  • It sounds like that girl says "Mickey come on over for a potty!"

  • I seem to remember thinking that at the time.

  • I wanted this toy as a kid and never got it! I'm going to buy one now to spite my parents.

  • That'll show 'em.

  • I had one. I remember I quickly figured out that the phone numbers were a RUSE! All that mattered was the last number.
