how did that enigne not overheat staying that long in the mud mine will overheat after about 1 minute.

the high location of the radiator (but not very safe if it do overheat...) helps alot and a very powerfull big electric 2-stage fan with a cover that covers the back of the radiator, so that the fan sucks fresh air through the entire radiator area on the same time is the key. I´ve seen a lot of guys that have had problems with there Jeeps (especially with V8´s) overheating when offroading and a lot of time the problem can be solved with only a good cover!

The ride is far from the ultimate mud bogging machine anyway, especially with those tires, and just adding lockers will not make that big of difference. But it's still a fun machine :)

Axels are taken from a Volvo RTGB 915, 1957. Frame is a CJ3, engine is a 350 Chevy placed on the bed. Dual transfer cases, one from a Volvo TPV 1943 and the other one is from a MAN 4x4 truck. This Jeep has had this look like this since 1987.
