  • Gooosebumps.

  • the EAS from Modern Warfare 2 looks better.

  • @TheRealMeteora888 It said Emergency Broadcast System. The USA got rid of the EBS in '97. Prettier, but not accurate.

  • I love those smiling faces beaming on the flashy title card while the nukes are coming.

  • Awsome video :)

  • The new script is at the following link:

    w ww .w pr. o rg/ea s /DOC-278628A3.pdf

    (remove spaces)

  • thee two dislikes thought it was real

  • Gah...

That tone is realistically annoying, alright.

  • I loved it untill the voice was heard. Not the same as other EAS alerts.

  • Where can I find those card scripts?

  • You obviously didn't research this that thoroughly, or you used the obsolete Emergency Broadcast System, not the EAS. Only the President, Director of FEMA, or Director of the Office of Emergency Management can activate an Emergency Action Notification. Also the EAN is not the actual "warning" itself, it just stops all local broadcasting so a national message from the President can be given. So you would hear the tones and then the screen would go black until the speech started.

  • WHICH 'civil authorities'? This would have much more impact if a named federal agency, say, DHS or National Command Authority had issued this warning.

  • In all alert and military/civil transmissions the words "repeat" are never used, in the military this implies "fire again" or "fire for effect". The correct phraseology is "I say again"

Same with marinecraft, police, aviation etc radio transmissions.

    almost 100% accurate :P

  • @bounceferret

I am almost certain that the word repeat is used in this. i typed all of it directly from the EBS Script.

  • @CarbonRoc Yeah, the "red card" says the word repeat.

  • Hew How did you make the title text? what movie Maker.

  • At the end it would have been more accurate without that cheesy "emergency alert system" stuff at the bottom

  • ITS ALL LIES!!!!!!!

  • nice pretty sweet. i gonna rate 5 stars

  • Something about "Emergency" and "Alert" in one sentence, that makes my insides all ticklish.

  • how bout one for chicago

  • Respond to this video... Its KGW

  • Thats really good Can you do one for Oregon

  • @Buster21ish

when i have time again ill get around to it. what is your local news station in Oregon?

  • KGW News Channel 8 Portland,OR

  • @CarbonRoc KGW News channel 8

  • @CarbonRoc depends on where it is broadcast.

    Portland: KATU 2

    Eugene: KEZI 9; KVAL 13; KMTR 16

    Coos Bay: KPIC 4

I could give you a list.

  • How do you get the tones, background, and the voices?

  • Wh do I keep seeing nuclear missle warnings for a EAN? It is also for war on home soil, terrorist attack, mega-tsunami, and as I keep seeing, nuclear attack.

  • This is not a 100% accurate version of the EAS.

    1. You mention the Office of Civil Defense, which has not existed since the late seventies.

    2. "This is an attack warning" was a phrase used under the EBS, not the EAS.

Nevertheless, one of the best EAS sims on Youtube.

  • Shudent the air force be deployed to intercept the ICBMs and or bombers?

  • @SuperVillaTube

How exactly should they be intercepting ICBMs that are designed to counter anti-missile systems and are targeting entire continental USA?

  • how did you make the last card??

  • So, this would happen if a nuclear attack actually occured?

  • @MrBennetzen

    Any large attack I suppose.

    Nuclear, biological, or possibly invasion.

  • if this was on tv,i will kill myself with desert eagle

  • I'm curious? This is actually how it would transcibe.

  • This is excellent work! I'm a Civil Defense buff myself! *subscribes*

  • very interesting

  • how did you do this?

  • Kinda curious about the Card Scripts too...

I've actually been doing some research into the system, and the script used sounds like a mix between the late CONELRAD - early EBS ones (the predecessors to the EAS) and another system that I can't recall off the top of my head.

The Spanish language aspect is a required part of an actual emergency reading if I recall... Nice touch.

  • At least those 5 people that got killed at the beginning of the video didn't live to be blasted to nothing

  • Where did you get the Card Scripts?

  • Look at those happy faces on the news anchors pictures as the country is about to be blasted into oblivion.

  • OOOOOKay, that spanish was just too good a touch!

  • This one was kind of creepy to me. Very realistic seeming.

  • They tested one of these yesterday I nearly shit myself cause I didn't hear the this is a test part thank god nobody hates America tht much

  • @madman6782:

"thank god nobody hates America tht much"

Heh, REALLY? Someone hated the US enough to crash two large a/c into the world trade centers.

  • If I ever see this on TV, I will shit myself...

    This is right on though.

  • you would not be the only one. I'd be dead the second they mention ANY city in FLA [especially Orlando].

  • @RubiRubisimo I would shit bad because I live in New York and it's a target.
