Fantastic. We performed this piece recently and I thought we had done an admirable job, but THIS is the way the piece was meant to be sung.

I am enjoying your performance very much! And that is a BIG compliment from someone who has recently performed this piece himself, as a baritone in a chamber choir. As usual, singers get 'married' with their own interpretation and their own performance. So it is a delight to find such direct musical pleasure in someone else's performance. I particularly like phrasing, the temporal and dynamic variations that the conductor applies, and the choir follows faultlessly with a beautiful voice. GREAT.

for some reason i wana say that the girls are like..not as good as the guys..and its very impressive i do beleive that not only the oldest age is 19..the youngest age is 9! awesome! :)

well - we don't know if girls could sing like this, because there are no choirs, which train girls in singing that much and that early like boy choirs do.

o well - maybe i missunderstood your comment first. there are no girls at all singing in this choir, just boys. that's why all the high voices are sung by boys younger than 14.

Hallo Frau Editorin, als Hamburger finde ich es garnicht unglücklich, etwas mehr von dieser für mich schönsten Kirche Deutschlands in dem Video präsentiert zu bekommen !

Schließlich war die Besichtigungsmöglickeit bisher ja wohl sehr begrenzt (?).

Ist es weiterhin noch so, dass man sich langfristig dafür anmelden muss ?

Es gibt besonders an Samstagen Gottesdienste u. Andachten, wo man sich ruhig mit hinsetzen kann, siehe Veranstaltungskalender.

Mein Kommentar wurde natürlich am 20.5.2009 geschrieben. Am 22.5. fand ein Konzert in der Kreuzkirche statt, wo auch das "Richet mich, Gott"

gesungen wurde....
