The most important difference between SC and WC3 is that in SC all the races are almost equally balanced, in WC3 every building order is similar and all the matches always goes by the same way.

just by looking at the screenshots you can tell that starcraft is the better and more difficult game, and that it has a cooler pro-scene with more challenge. look at wc3 screenshots, it looks like a cartoon for 10 yr olds. ez mode.

Wc3 is at the same speed as SC you just do different thing siwth ur APM in wc3, there is just as much multi tasking in wc3 as in SC but in SC you have ur army all over the place while in wc3 u 80% have ur army together except scouts and other things. Wc3 proscene and wc3 progames are a lot more intresting then the SC proscene, but ofc i like SC proscene aswell and i love watching the games as i said before. GO wc3! best game ever!

WC3 is solved, SC is 10 years old and can't be solved, WC3 dsnt take as much apm as it's more of a 1 base game. it still takes alot of micro but the stratagy is all the same now

Your opinions are unrefined and bias.... SC does take around 75-150 more apm but you also have to take in account that it lacks a lot of gameplay mechanics that wc3 has, such as: auto mining, multiple upgrade queues, enhanced waypoints, multiple buildings per command group and more.... And, there's a lot of strategy cycling through wc3 that isn't really comparable to SC. You can't compare creeping to map control or item abuse to macro.

Wc3 is solved? There is new gameplay every month from progamers, its always new and fresh. I dont care about automining/buildinqueues/encha­nced waypoints.. i care about the game, the strategy, how hard it is, how fun it is, how well made it is, graphix means shit to me, and i do not agree that SC takes more skill then wc3, wc3 is the greatest game and is a lot better then SC but i still play SC from time to time and its also great fun, but no game can beat wc3.

i played both, ive won tournaments in both games, even command and conquer but i have to admit, SC is way better. WC are more into micro but SC are both micro and macro.

check the apm required to play SC professionally compare to WC.

You need faster apm in SC because you need to micro fast, in wc3 you dont need the macro speed but u need a lot of macro thinking, but i agree for sure that SC is more macro demanding then wc3. in wc3 micro is the deciding of who will win a fight. the apm difference in wc3 and sc is not that far away, apm in wc3 is 200--450 while in SC its the same, but overall the apm in SC is slightly higher

you dont need macro speed? compare the buildings of SC to WC. In WC you can finish professional matches just having 1 base that means they only have 1 base to protect, WC has teleportation. in SC you have to defend all bases with teleportation.
