  • " if you no me you know that I love cup cakes and I love the errrrrf " / Your recipe is the best / but its earth not errrrrf love.

  • im extremely hungry now!!!

  • i liked the start, maybe you should stay in the kitchen more oftern, oh errr.

why must the bowl be old, i understand big but old?

you set a whisk on fire :o ???

most of this video could be shorter just by saying ''cook the cakes in cones.'' video over.

  • @tobiosnmakky Maybe that's how you would make a video,,, but I prefer Brigitte's way. You make your videos and let Brigitte make hers. I'll be watching hers. :-)

  • You're like a more indie version of Zooey DeChanel.....if that's possible ^-^

  • i do eat the cupcake paperz

  • This girl makes the silliest videos.

  • my mind went the wrong direction when you said "I love that you're not gonna be able to tase this." I'm just saiyan XD

  • pretty girls usually can't cook

  • this was pretty funny, he is a cutie

  • @hootieti he is a cutie :O?

  • @Bo3azozq8 damn.....stupid lightning fast fingers.......

  • From 1:31 to 1:33, your posture reminds me of Keira Knightley.

  • BUT THE FOIL IS LEFT BEHIND (the support).... isn't left over paper better than foil?????????......... your really funny though

  • @indtxtbks maybe you can reuse the foil over and over?

  • haha "gather your ingredients" :D (gathering them) (:

  • "A cupcake that left nothing behind - except happiness" hahaha, awesome.

  • omg ur so creative :D im gonna try this nxt time

  • Omg, you remind me so much of Alexis Bledel.

  • @moonlily27 Shes like the looks of Zooey Deschanel with the voice and attitude of Alexis Bleded in GG.

Except shes probably more like Brigitte Dale

  • I totally have known about this...for like 15 years. Is this new for everyone else? Cause it's like wayyy old.

  • idk why but your vids are funny to me

  • your handwriting is pretty neat...5 stars for good handwriting!!

  • u r cool

  • u r making me hungry!!

  • This is cool :D

  • I made them! They are really nice too. Because the actual cupcake part is so soft, and the wafer cone is crunchy, it's like a crunchy, chocolatey dream!

  • My jaw actually dropped when I saw you were making them with ice-cream cones!

  • This is hilarious! I love your videos!

  • Lol, you should have a show of your own like a cool young hip layed back Martha Stewart.

  • you should call them cake cones, not cupcones, cuz there is no cup

  • Comment removed

  • Well, what about the packaging of the cones?

  • Those actually look really good mmm

  • absolutely what i was thinking when you were talking... cone!

  • lol thats cute!

  • DAMN! I wrote down flour twice instead of sugar and flour...I thought that was odd...So I made them with two cups flour and no sugar...DAMN!

  • hahaha "WHOA"

I have wondered about making these for ages...in my mind the cones would just burn...I guess not....

You kin of remind me of Rory from the gilmore girls...I had to say it it has been bugging me =P

  • i totally agree she reminds me of rori too

  • hahahaha "woah"

    that's very cute.

it's sure as hell beats emerils "bam"

  • Yeah , live in good house , have a good live speaking about nothing... relally stupid

  • hahahaha adorable.

i love that you say "gads" my grandma used to say that.

i don't mean that it's grandmother-y... uhhh... winky ha ha.

you are not a graceful cook, but you are a charming one.

  • agreed... lots of non-eco friendly in this video... the foil is the best... lol...

Funny stuff though.. sounds like that brat Jenny from L-Word... pouty eyes and all...

  • I like earthy cupcones---yummm

  • You ve must be one of the most entertaining people Ive seen in awhile. Thanks for putting this up. Keep it up.

  • heyy can I ask you one random question??? When's your birthday =)?

  • Martha Stewart would be a lot more fun to watch if she were more like you Brigitte. I'm going to try this, well, someday soon. Have a great weekend.

  • I love your sense of humor Brigitte (intentional or not). :-)

  • Please have lots of kids! The world needs more people like you.

  • @MadSmokerBBQ That sounds kinda creepy :)

  • comment

  • urrth! hahaha

  • Doesn't the foil make it non eco-friendly? :P LOL

  • I too thought about this. What an excellent point.

  • WHOA!!! nice catch phrase. i like how u spilled everything...emeril doesnt do that..

  • Brigitte, keep on cooking.

  • You are adorable making those cupcakes. Oh and Happy Cinco de Mayo. (Thats when I watched this) Love your videos.

  • you should sell these!!! i cant believe you made these up all by yourself! what will you think of next? a breakfast in a sandwhich?

  • use silicon cups, reusable

  • Dude...if you use silicon cups...you cant eat them! lol

  • "gather your ingredients" is my favorite part. And..... American Girl already invented cupcones back in the 90s. But it was fun to watch your video!

  • You need you're own show on the cooking channel. You're cooking is hilarious!!!

Thanks for doing what you do.

  • I like it. I'm gonna have to try that. I like crunchy with everything anyways. I like I like I like.

  • For real, cupcake paper is biodegradable! Who cares if it is trash first.

  • how does using big wads of tin foil save the waste of using paper cups??

  • If I send you $100 will you overnight Fedex me 6 of them. And I'll give you another 50 for my mug!

  • Watching you cook is hilarious... hahaha...

  • WHERE CAN I GET ONE??!

  • keep baking brigitte.. great video!

  • hahaha 3:32 priceless, so cute!

  • U R killing me, with the stuff i need to be killed with! ; )

  • lol love thet catch frazzzzeee lol WHOA :] use it more often

  • Hi Brigitte, you are so cute. I tried making your cupcones and guess what...they were great. Will you be doing some more baking projects in the future?

  • my favorite part was when the white stuff splashed on your face mmmmm lol

  • Conecakes is a waaaaaay better name

  • you're so adorable. "woah!"

  • Nifty!

Do the cones get crisper or softer?

  • You rule. :)

  • I think I will try it, what about cupcakes made out of cannabis. :-)

  • I think this is a great idea, especially as faux ice cream cones. I think it can be a big hit just by itself, apart from the paper-saving considerations. Just great!

  • Don't mean to burst your bubble, but it should be "conecake" instead of "cupcone." The paper "cup" is what's being replaced by the cone. The cake is still there. :-)

  • hmm...shouldn't they be...conecakes?

  • Brilliant!

  • Suuuuuch a cute idea!!!! I have to try this!

  • Thank you for such a great idea. I will tell my cook to try it out.

  • haha I see a recurring pattern here

    when you do HOWTO videos

between how you almost yell "step 3" in the howto make a swan out of towels and the way you splash ingredients into the bowl

I would say you got a tendency to lose your calm when doing HOWTOs =)

  • You would be so much fun to have around!

  • maybe if you take the idea to a manufacturer of some kind, you could end up rich!

  • I loved the robot. You should have your own cooking show ;)

  • You are so messy!!!

  • What a great idea

  • That was so entertaining. The grassy field cupcone will probably be the best one of the bunch. Good work.

  • ~Dear Oprah,

    please replace

    Rachel Rey with Brigitte Dale.

    Thank You and Good Day.

  • I never saw cupcones before.

  • Brigitte, forgive my ignorance but have these ''cupcones'' been around for awhile...or are you truly the inventor? Because if it's the latter of the two, may I suggest that you slap a patent on this idea of yours (and fast) before someone else comes along and steals it for their own. Don't laugh, you'll be kicking yourself when these things start popping up in bakeries everywhere.

    Dan

  • Awesome!

  • 0:51!

  • these look amazing! ahh.

  • this is awesome cause i'm a nervous baker, and its exam season, so, you know, my house will see many-a-cupcone courtesy of you, brigitte!

    feel honoured

    xx

  • I love cup cake cones!

    You go Brigitte :)

  • Gads?

  • You absolutely make my day. If I'm ever feeling depressed or ticked-off at the world I just play one (or more) of your videos, and voila...happy times again.

And as far as my plans for the weekend? I'm going to be making cupcones...lots of them.

  • excusably dorky

  • You are hilarious, love your vids! I would totally watch your cooking show if you had one (and i dont like cooking shows.....mostly because they make me hungry)

  • where did the other ones go? did you eat them before you got a chance to photograph them?!

  • Great Idea!!! It's really fun watching you destroy^H^H^H^H^H^H^H get creative in the kitchen...

    Have a great weekend :-)

  • wo!

  • I need to get out more. You're starting to become the highlight of my week...

Having said that, I'm off to the supermarket now to buy the stuff I need to make those. If I burn down my kitchen, I'm blaming you! :P

  • I love cupcakes! Oh, awesome video like always!

  • ...deciding if its too disrespectful to make an inappropriate horndog comment about Brigitte's cupcones...

On a "serious" note, I completely adore what a huge klutz she is.

  • Fantastic! You've taken dessert technology to a new level. I have one suggestion though, when you want to be extra fancy how about dipping the whole cone in melted chocolate?

  • good job of gathering ur ingredients;)

  • "Do it very calmly" haha

    cool vid

  • * trying to grab my computer monitor as if I can get to the beautiful cupcones *

  • At first I thought you lied when you said that you had a greener version of the cupcake, however when you showed the grassy field one then I knew that you were being honest.

  • That is actually a brilliant idea for cupcones : ) or cone cakes.. whatev. I was gonna mention that you can "save the earth" a little by not using an electric mixer :P But I guess the oven finishes it off...

  • Shouldn't it be conecakes?

  • haha i was about to post a comment saying the same thing........conecakes would definitely be the most logical name

  • i make these for all of my friends and they cant keep it in their pants when i bring them around.

  • Yay! Cupcakes Rock! ...so when eating a cupcone, do you eat the cone as you eat the cupcake? :P

  • you could just use rice paper or baking paper in cupcake cup molds and that's still edible.... I think you can buy the edible cupcake cups at the grocery store.

  • Definitely not hyped up too much. Very cool idea!

  • My wife said yes so I'm making cupcones, sa-weet!!! But instead of all that measuring, I'm just going to use stuffing

  • Brigitte,,,,,, you never cease to amaze me. Well done.

Woah,,, oopsy,,,woah,,,ooooh,,, giggle giggle, great catch phrase.

  • It was also nice of you to leave some on the floor for Maddy. :)

  • You know, while you were waiting you could have cleaned up a little. ;)

Anyway, do you think this could work with waffle cones?

  • WOW!!! Those look REALLY GOOD!!!

It made the adding milk incident worthwhile :)

  • this is actually so creative

  • this is my all time favorite video on youtube!!!! =)

    keep up the good work

  • But what if we don't live with our parents or another adult? What if we used to live with another adult, but the other adult walked out when we were laid off from our job at the cupcake paper making factory because some woman on YouTube said our product was hurting the Earth? Can we use the oven ourselves without permission, or should we come live with you?

I have an electric mixer you can use.

  • You look like you really had fun making this one!

    I had fun watching too.

    Faved!

  • Nice creative on the icing decoration at the end.

  • Very creative. But how does it taste, the toasted cone with the cake that is?

  • Then you obviously don't know what yur talking about, she is naturally funny and silly like that in all her videos, she's not 'trying' anything.

Keep up the good work brigitte! :D

  • What did the cone taste like after cooking it? Was it hard or did it go soft from the batter?

  • it was a little bit soft but still crispy :)

  • Thank you for replying. I have to try this. I wonder if you raised them up off the bottom if that would make them keep crisper. I'll have to try it. I think you may have something here.

  • Actually they look pretty good. I of course am on a diet and am tearing my hair out for something sweet. I shall over come. By the way, that is not a pot holder. That is an oven mit (or mitt...not sure). Pot holders are flat and usually square. However an oven mit (or mitt....still not sure) can be used instead. I'm just saying.

  • Instead of "cupcones" shouldn't these be called "conecakes"?

    There is still cake.

  • Eric, the cake is a lie. The cake is a lie.

  • Is that a quote or a paraphrase from a movie?

  • No its from the videogame Portal

  • I thing I am going to try make some cup cones for my kids, God help me!!

  • What does sifting do to the flour? Add air perhaps?

Did you put the tinfoil between the cones or in the bottom of the cones?

I love your self-consciousness, its so amusing and funny.

Where I come from, we call it an oven-mitt...8^D

The end product looked good enough to eat! 5*'s

  • Haha, looks delicious!

...But you probably wasted the foil.

  • omg ...so doin' that for my son class...They are goin' to think I'm a rockstar.....loves it..

    you are a rOcKstaR

  • I haven't seen a cupcake in an ice cream cone. Hehehehe... This is a good idea. :)

  • lol you are so adorable!

  • i love you and i laughed out loud so many times to this baking experience. food network needs to scoop you up.

  • i thought it was gonna be an edible cupcake holder.

  • You're my cupcake in a world full of too much sour cream frosting. As in, most Youtubers bore me with their dry attempts at entertaining. You are always fun, cute and girl-next-door wonderful.

    -Tripp

  • Haha, I reckon your humour and style are the most important ingredients!...

  • Those look absolutely delicious.

  • This is Brigitte on her A-game, right here.

  • I used to eat those in the 80s, but I like the idea of an enthusiast deriving them herself. ;)

  • Great!

  • what about the foil?

  • mmmm that looked really good.

  • Looks good if I wasn't sick at the moment I would consider making my own cupcones. That and used up my cooking power making chicken soup (no canned soup so I couldn't be lazy).

  • Comment removed

  • The look amazing Brigitte :-).

Don't tell anyone, When I was a kid I used to chew the cupcake paper after eating the cake, pretty much sucking off all the cakey bits. :-D

  • Aw, gee, I still do that - chew it into a chocolaty tight wad of paper. Takes up much less room in the trash.

  • This is excellent. Please make more cooking videos. And maybe a gardening video?

  • wow cool! I might try this!

  • You are definitely on to something...

I'm personally a fan of the grassy field. ^__^

    Cheers... J.

  • thanks! if i'd had known i was going to run into you today, i would have brought you a cupcone. :)

    b

  • Next time my friend... I expect 2 cupcones! And I'll even carry the oversized bag of loose change this time.

  • You are such a dork.... love the robot. : )

  • "i love that you're not gonna be able to taste this"

    booooooooooo!

  • That is the most adorable cooking vid ever. Food Network needs to give you your own show.

  • very cool
