@TheLoyalOfficer At this point in American History he could have come out in his underwear and not only would no one have said a word but they would have thought it brilliant and inspired. We quietly noted BDU wasn't the correct uniform but it worked.

@tjustman Fair enough. In it's day, it was a great speech. Unfortunately, the changes since the speech make it seem slightly dated. Although I did like his universal comments about leadership.

In that regard, what he said will be relevant forever.

This was a great speech. I remember it vividly - I was a Firstie - someone had the balls to ask GEN Schwarzkof to get a beer after the speech.

I got the VHS tape while a cadet - it's in good shape but wanted to see this get digitized before all the magnetic tapes eventually die. Surprised that no one from the PAO office did it officially.

I agree with mpfalcon6 - I have been trying for years to find out where I can buy the complete video of this speech. I own a VHS of this speech, but it is in really poor condition!
