  • This WAS played in Miami Vice but its really an ost from the sci fi movie Hardware

  • A tear might fall from any man's eye to dust in desert and another pass by who, seeking sustenance, suck it on up like an ant in heaven of only one cup.

  • Fuck... this movie made no sense at all.

And I thought Donnie Darko was confusing!

  • yeah, this is what i searchig for!

grazie PIL per questa opera maestosa!..mitica...

    Danke PIL für dieses Meisterwerk!

  • Best movie I've ever seen. Thanks for the video!

  • check it: the movies all about a boy's road to manhood through sex

he deflowers his girl: blood on screen; then high fives the old man; his perception of man before he loses virginity. then kills the old man; after sex, he becomes his own man. the old man is a personification of a stereotype of manhood. the road to manhood is the movie.

  • no, its right.

  • no it's wrong.

  • negative

  • Yeah...sure.

  • yes. sure.

  • "This is what you want, this is what you get". OMG! You've nailed what this movie is about. He doesn't want the truth but of course that's exactly what HE NEEDS to be free to escape the perpetual hell of his Lost Highway. Clever to linking this song with this clip. I love it when someone gets this movie more than I do.

  • This movie is about Jealousy also, and women, and how men use and view women, and how men see women subcounciously. He likes to portray the dark and demonic undercurrent to things

All his movies are about this.

  • poppycock

  • nrged,

You have to buy the whole album. Don't know if there is a CD of the album, but I've got my album.

    Search harder.

  • Thanks for the information. I appreciate it. I can't find the album either on iTune (and they don't even have the soundtrack of The Blair Witch Project). I'll keep looking.

  • You do not have to buy the whole album. Message me.

  • Does anyone know where I can buy this song? It does not seem to be available on iTune!

  • you can look for the hardware movie soundrack, probably go to ebay to find it, I have had that soundtrack on CD for at least ten years, Varese Sarabende records I believe made it

  • Contact me privately. X

  • Wow! Perfect choice of music for this movie! And very well-done montage. Godo job

  • M.A.R.K 13 - HARDWARE :-)

  • Absolutely! That movie is the shit!..and we all walk that wipperly wopperly walk.

  • I didn't understand "Lost Highway" untill I saw this Vid. Thanks for the illumination.

  • The A/V-editing is asynchronous and even the first three words of the song are missing ... not really precise work.

  • Great combo, dude! As a matter of fact, the movie makes a helluva lot more sense THIS way! It also has one of Robert Blake's last really great performances. CREEEEPY!!!

  • Public Image was true class... and Order of Death quite fit every film by this years. Include Highway and Hardware. :)

  • i LOVE THIS MOVIE!

  • nice memories hee

  • sweeeeeet ass song

  • Shit, I love this. When it comes in... it's so good

This was in the soundtrack to The Blair Witch Project, I believe for it's eerieness

    Amazing tune

  • The song was done years before The Blair Witch Project!

  • I know, I've got my copy of 'This is what you want, This is what you get' (Great album by the way)

  • sorry,- Hardware ;-)

  • M.A.R.K 13 - Harware

  • So what? Did he kill his wife and then try to remember things the way they were? But that didn't work so then he re-invents himself and his wife completely? But that doesn't work either, right? So then what?

  • He's in the electric chair throughout the whole movie, executed & dying; the moment in the cell & when he changes into Pete, & the moment at the end when he burns up in the car in the police chase. Aways trying to escape his reality by imaging a new character/story/reality but always being dragged back to the beginning of his reality - he killed his wife & 'Dick Laurent is dead". His ego refuses to die and keeps trying to invent a new 'reality' but he can never that hell.

  • I love this one too. Great job!

  • this music is perfect for this film which by the way is awesome!

  • Love the movie. Love the song "Order of Death" by Public Image Ltd. This song was played during the final scene in an old Miami Vice episode called "Little Miss Dangerous". Thanks for posting this video. It's Great.

  • Awesome!

  • hardware is a lost masterpiece and must be watched and adored by everyone.and this film too

  • I can't find this movie on dvd to buy!

  • Try Amazon. They should have it there.

  • @MikeHawkins I got in SouthAmerica for $ 1.50 and all the Lynch movies for less than 10 bucks. These are part of the good things of this place. Love it!

  • Wow! Very good job!! Great song and great movie. Really loved Robert Blake's creepy laugh at the end! :)

  • there's no way in hell that the person below me nailed the song, episode and title. I owe you a beer, at the very least. 10 years of forgotten memories not only became reality, but downloadable.

  • This great song went very well in an old Miami Vice epsiode called "Little Miss Dangerous".

  • hell ya! Super job...........

  • A proper good job mate!

  • "Hardware" Summer of '90. I remember watching that movie with a bunch of friends at a drive-in Higher than f*ck and peaking right about when this song was played. Sober now (thank god) but I still have the memories.

  • This song was used in an episode of Miami Vice. I remember staying up late to watch it and it totally freaked me out.. It was about this artist/serial killer pyromainiac hooker chick.. "Little Miss Dangerous" season 2.. classic.

  • I first heard thissong in connection with "The Blair Witch Project". If you bought it on pay per view you got a video of the song as a add on.

  • That's where I got the song from.

  • Blake meeting Pullman at the party is one of the weirdest scenes in the history of cinema. It was no surprise that Blake killed his freak in "real" life because he deserved her. "This is what you want, this is what you get" sums up everything for everyone.

  • i love this tune since i saw it in a film called hardware in the 90's

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !

  • this is like a hellish hang-over

  • Grreat... love the song, love the movie.... fucking love that clip, good mix!

  • Wow, I always knew Robert Blake was a freaky SOB, but here, he's in a league totally on his own!

  • then he killed in real life! We are only a step away so always check your reality and stay safe, loving, giving and always true and real to love.

  • Still one of my favorite songs....
