First fire is not your friend it is an evil temptress that can and will turn on you at any time given the chance. one can manipulate fire but even the experts get burned from time to time. Secound im not an expert but i know you never do any fire tricks in the wind the wind makes fire even more unpredictable and is most likely why his torches fire was so large (that or too much oil).

to learn this to impress the next door friend or a cute girl.so my advice to all of you is don t do it just for fun..or you get a personal teacher and do it right or stick to card tricks.now.666tomtoguitar the torches are homemade but go to someone ho knows how to do them don t make them by yourself you can buy torches but if you make them it s better because you make them on the dimension of your mouth.for the fuel i personally use Zippo lighting fluid and it works well. DO NOT TRY TO WATCH A VIDEO LIKE THIS AND DO IT!!! I have been doing both fire eating and breathing for years I love it but if you want to learn go find an instructor. There are so many minor adjustments that only a professional will notice your doing wrong. Trying to self teach this can kill you.

I'm a fire eater. It doesn't hurt because you exhale as you put the torch in your mouth. Exhaling blows the flames and heat away from your lips. (of course you always get little burns now and then, but you naturally withdraw before you get hurt)

Only if you enjoy the feeling of burning wax in your mouth. But if you really want to I'd suggest beeswax candles since they don't drip wax that much.
